I wouldn't suggest Crowdbasefor smaller companies, even for bigger companies a more integrated solution would be desirable. It may suit companies that want their collaboration separate from project management and CRM, but at least for our organisation it seems to make more sense to have most of our work tools in one place

Miro

One scenario when Miro is well suited is for a group presentation when peers are asked to work together to come up with ideas. Individuals can access Miro using the link (on their own devices) and they can all add on their ideas. I cannot think of a scenario where Miro would not be useful. It is very versatile [and] students and professionals can use it.

  • Provide templates for executing exercises like Business Model Canvas, Stakeholder matrix, Journey Maps, etc.
  • Live interaction between the participant of the meeting. It really facilitated the team-wotrking
  • It is very intuitive to use. The menus on the side, the search button at the top and the blank board are great aesthetic features.

  • Creating templates for own usage, being able to copy for further meetings
  • Automation tools like changing colors or checking boxes depending on time or other objects on display

Miro is very good but still too basic. [It] would be great to have more precision and some advanced tools. More control on the text size and objects alignment is a need [for] our design team. Also, the experience on the tablets is not so good. Many dead clicks and problems while trying to select objects and tools.

There are some features that are a tiny bit clunky (having to switch between cursors to select vs. pan around the space). Also, there are inconsistencies in sizing we've found when pasting content into a board from another source which slows us down and is frustrating.

I have not yet had to engage support live. I have found every answer I needed by tapping the extensive knowledge base. I think they are taking the right approach in allowing me to self serve when I need some info. I will update my review if and when I need to tap a live representative.

Miro is being used internally for more and more use cases, and I really love the implementation of Splunk within Miro. Definitely adds security and stability to any enterprise company. Our team benefits from the collaborative aspect, and will continue to leverage this tool throughout Q4 to finish out the year with a strong W.

Crowdbase's strength may lie in its ability to do just one main thing well, but for us this was a massive limitation. I know that it is not trying to be Podio and it is therefore unfair to compare the two but there are features that overlap. for us Podio was better suited.

Miro

Notion is slightly different and has another purpose maybe, but in any case, Miro is so much more complete and [user-friendly] than [a] notion. It has more integrations and it is more directed to a collaborative instrument rather than personal.

  • I do not have quotable, quantifiable data regarding Miro's impact on our business.
  • The use of Miro enables the delivery of project deliverables in those situations where getting group consensus is required.
  • Given that Miro enables workshops, etc., I can anecdotally indicate that its use reduces individual stakeholder contact requirements because you can efficiently coordinate and facilitate a group of individuals at the same time using Miro.
