Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro for planning projects and doing joint discovery projects - its brilliant for allowing multiple users to simultaneously work together and make collaborative feedback. Also the design of the product is great and integrating ideas with the AI helps produce quick and effective turn around in summaries and visualizations. It's very unique to be able to have such a wide working area, enabling us to have multiple facets of the same project all grouped together.

Pros

  • AI integration
  • Table formatting
  • Process flows

Cons

  • Text and size formatting - when you copy and paste items they come through tiny (always keep the paste to scale of what the rest of the project scale is
  • Excel linking - I want to be able to integrate excel documentations for prototyping ideas
  • Some extra templates and start up positions - just so it allows the user to be more creative (maybe a draw template option, so the AI can create you a template bespoke to you company)
  • Team understanding
  • Project start ups - bringing in wider teams to visualise
  • Design session in hours rather than weeks waiting for people to input or upload data
  • Ease of Communications on the project boards
Honestly - its been a life saver. I have loved working with the product and using it. There are a lot of features added into the same programme which is incredibly useful to have everything centralised. It's also very instinctive so every time a new user comes on board the Miro train they get the hang of it pretty much instantly so it saves me time as I don't have to explain functionalities
The AI integration in particular has speeded up the summarising aspect of my job, it also helps create a back and forth when I am working on my own. I can discuss an idea with the AI and it helps me improve on what has already been built. It's helpful to have suggestions for formatting on Miro too and prevents me from always creating the same patterns and make my work more engaging and diverse
I mainly find that the integration of multiple tools in Miro means I am using it more often and try to do most of my projects on it. I have been recommending it to most colleagues so we all can work on the same programme at the same time and collaborate live. I use other tools less as a consequence, unless necessary.
I use both for different things really. Figma is better for design and prototype applications with coding being enabled in Figma (which isn't part of Miro's tools). As I said earlier, I use other programmes when there is a lack in Miro, in this case the coding element.
Also Miro is better suited for BAU, so I can utilise this by bringing part of the business into using it. Figma isn't collaborative enough for this purpose. Miro overall has a better user experience

Do you think Miro delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Miro's feature set?

Yes

Did Miro live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Miro go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Miro again?

Yes

I have facilitated some Miro session with my team and try to show them how to bridge the Gaps. I try to show them how we can produce information radiators to allow they to be the creators of their project destiny. If i didn't think it wasn't worth it I wouldn't share my knowledge
