    We are in Construction, but I recommended Dashpivot to my IT guy this morning. I could see a million ways that it could be used by anyone in just about any industry. We have just set up a template to track a specific (very large) variation. Each time spoil is taken from the site, the tonnes, docket number, date, time and rego number of the vehicle are recorded. The Site Manager is also taking a photo of the truck docket and attaching it. We can use the analytics function to track the progress and amounts as we go along. When it came time to bill, all the information will be right there at my fingertips. We are using Dashpivot for Site Diaries, Purchase orders, EOT's, RFI's, Concrete pour checklists, toolbox talks, variation requests, and the lists goes on.... the ONLY thing that our Site Manager has said it is not really suitable is the sign-in sheet. He said that really need to be something that the site visitors and Sub Contractors physically sign. Might work with Dashpivot is we had a "sign on Ipad" or something, but at this point, it is being done manually.

    To adapt to Procore features working concepts is an easy and flexible capability that allows free access to all the project data and the distribution of reports across the entire team's professionals is quick and very simple. The tool also gives the ability to budget and plan the project resources and the expense management functions on Procore are excellent.

    • It's intuitive, so even a user who has basic computer skills can utilize it.
    • Punch listing - a great tool to do your inspection with Subbies, take pics, load them into a form, and workflow the form to them.

    • To send the induction template to every sub contractor to fill out and send back to us before entering site. Once we have the basic information we then can do the induction and sign off after completing the induction. Each induction could generate a number and it could form a list of names to a number on a register.
    • Site safety audit. If we could carry over a problem to create a list that has to get signed off ones done. That would be very handy.
    • Every one of our files generated is to be able to be re detected back on our own business server.

    • Downloading drawing sets sometimes involves an extra step that holds up the process
    • The dashboard is simplistic to the point that I don't feel like I am getting enough information about a specific project from the get-go
    • Granting access to a project on Procore is not very straightforward as a consultant- restrictions sometimes cause hold-ups

    It is so simple. I put off getting an online system for sooooo long because I dreaded the thought of getting a new system, having to set it all up and having to teach everyone how to use it. I also envisaged me being the port of call every time it stopped working or people didn't know what they were doing. I now wish I had done it a long time ago. The set up was so basic. I had 45 minutes of training over the phone in front of my PC and I was set to go! By the end of the day, I had already gone from "I'm just going to start off with Site Diaries and implement everything else gradually" to "this is bloody amazing, everything is now on Dashpivot and everyone is using it!" We converted our entire site and internal systems over to Dahpivot by Site Mate in the space of a day! True story.

    If you are working in an area with little to no signal, Procore will still allow you to get in the system and use it fully and will then update once you are at a place with a strong enough signal. Whether it be with wifi or LTE cell phone reception.

    Customer support has been amazing. Every time I've even had a question it is resolved very quickly either through the live chat function or a phone call to their friendly team. A lot of companies strive to have good customer service most of the time. In my experience, Dashpivot has great customer service every time I need it.

    Procore does have a feedback forum where you can suggest new or modified functionality. They also have support chat that you can utilize to get immediate responses.The feedback forum is great, but sometimes it feels like the development is slow or stalled on suggestions. The chat function is pretty good and the reps are knowledgeable. If they are unable to answer my question they follow-up through email very quickly. I am very satisfied with Procore's support. As a Procore customer you are also assigned to a Procore Customer Success team. I haven't had to reach out to them very much, but if I need to escalate an issue they are always available. I don't give support a 10 because of the slow or ambiguous responses I have received through the feedback forum. Procore also provides a "community" forum where you can reach out to other users to answer any questions you might have

They run through a process of training sessions based on the tools you have purchased, and lay ou ta plan to help the power users configure the tool to suit the company's needs. They provide useful resources for certifications, support and ongoing training as well.

    Procore's certification program and focused how-to training videos allowed for easy training that did not feel overwhelming. The way the certification programs were broken up into small parts made it seem much less daunting to complete. The training feels focused and does not overload users with too much information all at once.

    The hardest part about the implementation of Procore was getting all of our subcontractors uploaded into Procore and getting the correct contacts in for bidding. All of this information was with different people throughout our company, so getting it all into Procore and making sure it was correct was quite a challenge and caused the most growing pains for us. It was one of the reasons we had to wait to implement bidding because we couldn’t take the risk of sending out RFPs to people that weren’t correct or weren’t going to use Procore.

    I don't think I have used a product like Dashpivot before. There have been times and projects where I've used different types of online databases but none were as flexible and as well suited to our needs as Dashpivot has been. Being able to adapt to situations we use it for and willing to further develop the app for situations that we desire to use it for in the future makes this one of, if not the best construction-related app that I have used.

    Procore has all of the functionality of this software and more. I do not think it is even fair to compare the two seeing that Procore is able to do much more. Official drawings and documents are critical to keep organized and in order, which Procore does seamlessly and intelligently.

    • We've definitely become more efficient since using Procore. We were previously doing everything via Excel spreadsheets or Word documents. Now most of our operational processes are through Procore.
    • We save time in the field and in the office as there is now a flow of activities so everyone is on the same page.
    • We manage more projects (whether they are in construction or in bidding stage) more effectively because now we have one place to manage all aspects of it.
