Overall Satisfaction with Procore

I manage all aspects of projects on Procore. We input every contract job and work order. We utilize all tools in Procore and are integrated with Sage 300 CRE. Time tracking and material procurement are the most widely by all users. Our company has converted to a paperless payroll process and material procurement. Procore has solved several problems.
  • Manages Time Tracking and Exports to Sage 300 CRE
  • Organizes Drawings and Specs
  • Simplifies the Submittal Process
  • The Bidding Process Has Been Revolutionized
  • The ERP processing of change orders.
  • The Budget on change orders.
  • Prime Contract doubling when changes are made in Sage 300 CRE.
  • Efficiency in all aspects of Project Management
  • Streamlined multiple internal and external processes
  • Increased visibility to the upper management and president
  • Payroll, Productivity and Time Tracking have been revolutionized by Procore
We are integrated with Sage 300 CRE and Docusign. The accounting dept being linked with Procore has created a seamless transfer of information. Our material procurement process is a perfect example of being able to do all aspects right in Procore. The material ordering is done in the form tool by field workers on their mobile devices. Then it is emailed to the Purchasing Agent. The PA sends an email out of the form submitted to all the vendors for pricing. Once a price is received, the PA creates a commitment and exports the PO to Sage 300 CRE through the ERP HH2 system. The accounting dept receives the information in Sage without any paper exchanging hands.
The Procore Software is well known in the construction industry and is being used in Colleges to train the next generation.
We selected Procore because it offered a complete project management and bidding software program. It didn't offer pieces but a complete picture of each project. The mobile and web option was a big reason for the choice.

The daily log is used on large projects to track daily activity. It gives visibility to the owner and PM on the daily happenings of the project. The ability to copy the prior day's activities is a huge timesaver.
The mobile app is a huge benefit for field workers and foremen. They are able to view drawings and specs in the palm of their hand. Field workers, PMs, and office personnel can report their time on their mobile devices or via the web from anywhere.

Procore Implementation

Yes - The team worked to together to develop processes that worked within each department. The team was comprised of different departments in the organization. Then the team developed processes to link the departments through integrated streamlined processes. The management hired key employees and provided extensive training to the individuals responsible to implementation.

Procore Support

General Support for Project Management and Financials is consistent. The ERP support is never consistent and I do end up at times in a black hole. I have to continually reach out to get the issue resolved or get an update. The ERP support needs more of Procore's attention.

We were not offered Premium Support upon purchasing Procore. This product line came out after our buy in.
Yes - 50% of the time. Usually we are given a work around.
Yes, I was having an ERP support issue. It was a monthly on-going problem. I went through several support reps and developers. Then finally I made it to an advanced support tech who knew how to fix the issue. We have not had that issue again and it has been a great relief.

Using Procore

Everyone in the company uses it and I believe if taken away would miss it greatly. I do not believe anyone would want to go back to the old antiquated processes. The visibility of all employees is a huge benefit to our everyday operation.
