Overall Satisfaction with Procore

Fountain Electric is an electrical contractor that utilizes Procore for the majority of our workflow operations. Procore has helped us consolidate most of our operations into one platform and has greatly increased our productivity on job sites. Procore acts as a central hub for accessing information easily and efficiently while out in the field.

We were using the ERP integration for the company to sync with our SAGE services. It made change orders easier to create within Procore, but we eventually decided that we needed to have a more focused approach to our change orders and recently decommissioned this feature. Procore is highly versatile and works well with many other programs, allowing for integration with many different applications.
Procore has allowed us to better streamline communications between our office and field staff. This, in turn, has helped us solve issues that could otherwise have frustrated staff members and potentially caused terminations or resignations. Procore thoroughly tracks all changes and allows us to determine where communications were previously breaking down.
We previously used more manual entry methods, i.e. locally stored files; printed, physical documents; disjointed systems. Using Procore allowed us to pull all of our resources together in one program and greatly simplified the way information is accessed and processed out in the field. Procore has made a major impact on how we do all aspects of our jobs.

Procore has simplified and expedited our Daily Logs from the field. Having the ability to enter the information on the Procore app on their company iPads (even when data is not available) throughout the day and uploading it at the end of the day helps our foreman fill out the information more accurately and immediately.
Procore has proven itself as an invaluable resource for all of our job sites. Now that we use it, the old way of doing things seems so much more time-consuming and convoluted. Procore is an excellent resource for trades that are involved with industrial and commercial jobs. I would not recommend Procore for businesses that function only in a residential capacity.

Using Procore

125 - Procore is used by every department in our company and is a means for consolidating data for specific jobs for all users to access and update as necessary. Procore is used for nearly all documentation - be it drawings, submittals, material/tool requests, safety inspections, and many more. Procore is the connection point for all of our departments and allows us to function much more efficiently as a whole company.
1 - We have a single IT Specialist on staff who is largely responsible for training and troubleshooting Procore issues for all users. Once his resources and knowledge have been exhausted, he contacts Procore's support team for more focused troubleshooting and technical errors stemming from Procore's side of things. Procore support does a fantastic job of addressing issues immediately and following up on resolutions.

Procore has made an incredible impact on how we, as a company, do our job on all levels; it is one of our most powerful and effective resources.

Procore's ability to bring multiple processes and resources into one program was the single most important factor in our decision to use their software. The ability to have access to all files, drawings, specifications, etc. all from an iPad has drastically improved how our Foreman operate out in the field.
If we had to do it again, we would still have the same evaluation and selection process and in turn would have selected Procore all over again. Procore has proven to be an excellent investment for our company and has changed the way we operate overall.

Procore Implementation

The implementation went fairly smooth when consideration is given to the fact that we were completely changing all of our processes to best utilize Procore. There was a slight learning curve for using the software due to users not being technically inclined, but once the results became more apparent, our field employees committed to learning the new processes.
Yes - We initially began with our IT department and company VP going through all of Procore training and certifications to better understand how the software functioned. Next we rolled out Procore to our project managers and superintendents and had them complete certifications as well. Finally we moved on to our jobsite foreman and had them trained on how to use Procore by our IT department.
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - Using Procore meant overhauling our entire system and standard practices. It was a major change for all departments but was much easier to implement with the various training resources provided by Procore and their customer success team.

Procore Training

Procore's certification program and focused how-to training videos allowed for easy training that did not feel overwhelming. The way the certification programs were broken up into small parts made it seem much less daunting to complete. The training feels focused and does not overload users with too much information all at once.
Procore offers online certification programs and directed 'how-to' videos for completing processes through their software. Though it is a self-training program, it offers all of the information necessary to be successful in using Procore.

Configuring Procore

Procore offers users the ability to configure most of its tools to work the way that the user wants them to. There are enough configuration options that changes are easy to make, but there is also a division of configuration between the different tools offered through their software that it is easier to organize.
Procore does a great job of allowing it's users to configure tools to work the way that they need them to. I would always advise contacting their support team if there is a configuration change that users cant quite figure out.
Some - we have done small customizations to the interface - We have made small changes to have Procore work in a way that best suits our processes. The changes that we have made have been easy to do partly from the extensive configuration settings available for the tools in the software, and partly through contacting Procore to request specific changes.
No - we have not done any custom code

Procore Support

Procore has some of the fastest support request responses that I have ever worked with. Not only do they respond quickly, they usually have issues addressed and resolved almost immediately. The support for Procore software is some of the most impressive that I have ever experienced and one of the major factors in our continued use of their program.

N/a. We utilize Procore support as a part of the cost of using the software, there is not another tier of support.
Yes - We have experienced very few bugs in the software, but the times that we did, the issues were resolved quickly. Their customer service and support is top of the line.
We were experiencing issues downloading drawings through Procore's web browser login. We contacted Procore support and were immediately contacted by one of their support staff, they looked into our issue and saw that there was a back log in the drawing download queue. They pushed through the items that were held up and the issue was resolved, the whole process took less than one hour.

Using Procore

Procore is a very intuitive program and offers simple ways for processes to be completed. Procore has become a standard for our whole company and is used by every department in one way or another. The ease of use is one of the biggest factors in having the software adopted by every department.

Yes - The mobile interface works very well and is an invaluable tool for our employees out on jobsites in the field. The ability to access tools even when a data connection is not available has had a major impact on our ability to document job progress for more remote job sites. The app is regularly updated and well maintained.

Procore Reliability

The software is fully integrated throughout our company, for all jobs and in all departments.
Availability has not been an issue at all. Procore support is very fast to resolve issues before there is any significant down time.
Procore works well and is reliably accessible. We did experience some slowness on our Sage software while we had the ERP integration service running, but since deactivating that service we are no longer seeing the same issue.

Procore's fantastic support team is a major factor in my rating. They offer directed support quickly and will address concerns and issues efficiently.

Relationship with Procore Technologies

The vendor was upfront about the cost and the versatility of the software and was patient with our company throughout the process.
We worked directly with Procore on the sale, their customer service and support has continued to be excellent.
That was handled by our administration and accounting staff.
