Demodesk vs. Fireflies.ai

Demodesk is perfect for sales and marketing professionals, particularly in the technology & software space. Instead of screen sharing a demonstration, you can use their platform. This causes many fewer issues with lagging, poor internet connection, etc., which causes a much smoother demonstration of the software. It is great for marketing as well as being able to incorporate branding and improving consistency in the appearance of sales meetings.

It does the job really well. They were one of the first on the scene and have continually improved overtime. It's crazy affordable, I'm always surprised when I see the $5 monthly charge compared to other apps I pay more for and use a lot less.

• Helps in transcription & take notes.
• Listening to the meeting is very easy.
• Can be integrated into other various software.
• They also provide the option to download the meeting and the option to like & dislike the recording.
• And I love their soundbites features which I can use to highlight the specific part of the recording for future use.

• Would love to see the formatting of the summary when I download it look better. The headers are usually far too large and I end up reformatting each summary into my preferred format, layout font, etc. If there’s a way for me to preload, what my preferences are, that would be fantastic so I get a fully complete document without having to do much manipulation after the fact.
• I have my settings, correct but Fireflies.ai doesn’t always attend every Zoom meeting or every teams meeting. It does about 90% of the time, but there is a 10% failure rate which causes us a huge problem for me.

Given that I work in sales, it is one of the must have tools for the sales team. It helps us understand and review our calls anytime, anywhere. Access to the recording is easy for sales agent as well the team. Summary and transcription saves the time and manual work

The recording space in the cloud and the virtual display is something Microsoft Teams is missing. As per my personal experience, Demodesk is much more faster than other conference tools. Also, it's more reliable when the internet connection is low or not good. The lag rate is a lot less, which makes this tool a differentiator.

Fireflies.ai is made for meetings — that’s its main function — so it doesn’t include fancy features like video editing. If you need to record a podcast, it’s better to use Descript. Google Cloud is a good choice if you already have an audio file and need a very detailed transcription. Fireflies not only helps with transcription, but also with summarization and distribution. So while all three tools offer similar features, if you need a meeting copilot, Fireflies performs better.

• The cost is very affordable and getting ROI for it happens within the first meeting.
• My clients appreciate the quick turn on having an action plan in place for them.
• I like having a catalog of meetings I can reference to see the client improvements.
