The best in the complete production process. It provides the correct info in a very usable way. It is pretty good in sales, but the lack of discounts for sales goods and sales production is not ideal. On the other hand, ECI provides an excellent service for looking for custom solutions where we need them. Dutch Translation: De beste in het complete productieproces. I have only used Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) in my current role so I do not have specific scenarios other than, status/pay rate changes are not date effective so I have to make sure and enter any changes to the employees on the day the change is to occur. It would be better if I could enter changes as I receive them and code those changes to an effective date that can be referenced and pulled for reporting purposes.
Very stable product. Some of its weaknesses are also its strengths. The lack of web services seems to actually increase stability.
No software vendor in this space is perfect. Lawson does perform as advertised.
Again, a weakness of this (limited functionality) is a hidden strength as well. In software there is a complexity/feature tradeoff. Where Lawson lacks in features, it does give you a more simple setup for your organization.
Its nice software but it is very, very slow in webification and integration possibilities by using api's. Untill now the programm has client-server technology unfortunately. And there are far too less no code adjustments possible.
Strong technology stack that gives it long term strengths. Syteline is very scaleable, highly extensible and expandable. Work flow processing (ION) is strong and useful for increasing system feedback to user and decreasing repetitive tasks. Automated report generation is powerful. User interface is clean and very accessible. Broad functionality to meet a wide range of demanding environments. This is a solution you can use long term and not outgrow.
The working environment can be perfectly designed for every user and department, which makes the user-friendliness very good. Adding columns, formatting tables can all be customized to the user. The overall support of Inform M3 is simply the best! There isn't a single flaw that I can detect or think of about this software! I can't possibly express the greatness of the availability and all of the possibilities achieved. The ease of use and a lot of functionalities such as flexibility [allows in] configuration to add new functionalities fast.
Ridder iQ is specialized for our business and has people who bring a lot of knowledge to the table, so Ridder iQ is far more suited than a ERP solution which is not specilized in the make-industry. Furthermore, the customizability of Ridder stands out compared to solutions like ISAH. Therefore, the choice was an easy one, because knowledge and customizability are important criteria. I used another Infor ERP version called Mapics in the past. It was also a great product; efficient and fast. It was a hybrid one, running under Windows and DOS platforms; and hey, sometimes you need to sacrifice a good looking and colorful screen to black and white DOS in order to get things done faster and effective.
