Likelihood to Recommend Ridder iQ is very good to use for normal processes in the making industry. You can easily customize it with calculated and custom fields and widgets. But more extensive customizing is more difficult. You need to be able to programm and the integration of other software/webapps is difficult. Therefore the no/low code functionality and api endpoints of Ridder iQ should be extended. Ridder iQ is unfortunately not to use on a smartphone of something like that.

Read full review Pros You can easily make yourself calculated columns You can easily make yourself new tables and fields You can easily make yourself adapted screens, widgets, etc. You can easily make yourself email templates You can easily make yourself scheduled tasks Tables and fields have clear names what is very handy to work with Read full review Very stable product. Some of its weaknesses are also its strengths. The lack of web services seems to actually increase stability. No software vendor in this space is perfect. Lawson does perform as advertised. Again, a weakness of this (limited functionality) is a hidden strength as well. In software there is a complexity/feature tradeoff. Where Lawson lacks in features, it does give you a more simple setup for your organization. Read full review Cons Trouble shooting/call center is worthless. In the past we had a question and this will be solved. Now we have a question and we are called back a couple of days later and very often they can solve it but are not allowed to solve it and you need to pay for a consultant Pricing is very high, for every stupid things we need to pay the top price Information is not always good. We bought a new system and wanted to install this (Kronos). Asked several times to have some information about the installation. I received nothing and the asnwer was that we needed a consultant (read we need to pay). At the end I solved it by myself and that was rather easy. Read full review Not intuitive at all, difficult to learn. System is archaic, seems to be largely unchanged since the early 2000's. Reports are all in PDF form, which for financial reporting purposes is tedious to turn back into Excel sheets. Read full review Likelihood to Renew Do not understand the question
Read full review Usability Overall Ridder iQ is good to use. You can easily do small customizations to fields, screens, widgets, etc. There is also room for improvements to be able to easily adapt rights in roles, more no/low code functionality, webbased iQ, api endpoints, etc.
Read full review This is a highly configurable product. Where all available support provided by [Information] is very good and exceeds our expectations! The investment in this product by Infor continues to be significant and is showing results! Infor is going a long way and is here to stay! No doubt about that!
Read full review Support Rating The support is satisfactory, given the large user base of the product. We had no issues to meet our reporting deadlines with Lawson. The organizational support team internally are well trained and hence only on exceptional basis issues are escalated to Lawson support team. We had no negative experience so far with the support of Lawson.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Ridder iQ is specialized for our business and has people who bring a lot of knowledge to the table, so Ridder iQ is far more suited than a ERP solution which is not specilized in the make-industry. Furthermore, the customizability of Ridder stands out compared to solutions like ISAH. Therefore, the choice was an easy one, because knowledge and customizability are important criteria.
Read full review Lawson is comparable to the other ERP's I have used. Similar functionality and interface. Usability is comparable.
Read full review Return on Investment Some employees continue to find it a difficult program and I think this is partly because the options seem endless and it is sometimes difficult to find the right layout. This also applies to me as an administrator, many options, which is of course also positive. with the downside that it is sometimes difficult to search within Ridder IQ Read full review I wish Infor M3 (formerly Lawson Intentia) were more detailed. But, this actually may be a weakness of my employer and not Infor M3 (formerly Lawson Intentia). Read full review ScreenShots
