Epic MyChart vs. IBM Sterling Configure, Price, Quote

Before using Epic MyChart as a company we would contact our customers to inform them of results or appointments. With Epic My Chart, this has saved valuable resources as customers can now access their results on the app interface. This is very smooth and effective. We can now send direct marketing to them and generally keep them well informed.

Were it not for the fact that IBM CPQ lacks mobile and tablet applications, I would have recommended it 100%. However, I still have that 99% recommendation rate since this solution has saved us a lot by allowing us to close more sales within a short period by creating a channel where we collaborate with customers by offering coupons, sending price lists and orders.

• Collecting payments for bills

• Firstly, IBM CPQ makes it easy for customers to make rapid products purchases through configuration, pricing and ordering processes.
• Centralizing selling procedure in one platform by communicating products pricing to clients.
• Improving ROI by attracting customers when discounts are introduced on products as well as offering coupons.

• Slow communication form for private messaging, could add a live chat feature option.
• Better organization to have my chart of multiple companies flow seamlessly on the patient/individual side. A lot of times they have to create multiple accounts, one person provider.
• Being able to use the app outside of the US allows more access and freedom-range for those that travel or work internationally.

• Unfortunately, IBM CPQ does not have on-premises applications to use while not connected to the internet. This is no more a challenge since we have a robust WIFI connection in our organization premises.

More market share, so people are more used to Epic MyChart.

There are tons of Configure, Price and Quote software, but I have not used a lot of them. However, unlike IBM CPQ, HubSpot Sales Hub isn’t operated in compliance with any ISO standards and secured in a data center making it easy to leak customer sensitive data such as payment details.
