EYardstick vs. IBM Sterling Configure, Price, Quote

EYardstick is a neat tool. It's not complicated to use and if your requirement is to do a pre-employment assessment for a wide variety of roles with minimal support then this is the right one for your team.

Were it not for the fact that IBM CPQ lacks mobile and tablet applications, I would have recommended it 100%. However, I still have that 99% recommendation rate since this solution has saved us a lot by allowing us to close more sales within a short period by creating a channel where we collaborate with customers by offering coupons, sending price lists and orders.

• It's very easy to learn and use.
• Very helpful with selecting the right individual for the position needed.
• Ready-to-use test saves lots of time.

• Firstly, IBM CPQ makes it easy for customers to make rapid products purchases through configuration, pricing and ordering processes.
• Centralizing selling procedure in one platform by communicating products pricing to clients.
• Improving ROI by attracting customers when discounts are introduced on products as well as offering coupons.

• Wish to have AI-based shortlisting feature.
• Analytics can be more advanced.
• Though tool has a lot of reports but to derive the value out of it is time consuming. Hope they improve in this aspect.

• Unfortunately, IBM CPQ does not have on-premises applications to use while not connected to the internet. This is no more a challenge since we have a robust WIFI connection in our organization premises.

There are many ways to reach the support team, and they went beyond their routine to support us in both adding technical features and content for tests.

Timely and courteous response time from IBM Support any time there was a request that needed to be made.

HirePro was more service oriented than product oriented. EYardstick had a lot of self help and very easy for a novice to pick and start using it. Most of the features are self explanatory. Also our demand was to cater to a wide variety of job roles. EYardstick helped us in assessments for BPO hiring to typing tests to core IT exams with 360 degree proctoring solution.

There are tons of Configure, Price and Quote software, but I have not used a lot of them. However, unlike IBM CPQ, HubSpot Sales Hub isn’t operated in compliance with any ISO standards and secured in a data center making it easy to leak customer sensitive data such as payment details.
