When we were benchmarking CRM platforms, we analyzed many of them. Mailchimp's transactional solution, Mandrill, was our previous provider, but we needed the Developer team's assistance in all our campaigns. Salesforce was a more complex platform, but it proved too complex for …
Iterable is superior to Braze when it comes to handling up to 10m users. More than that, Braze scales better, it guarantees on-time deliverability, where Iterable struggles to.
My understanding is that Mailchimp has evolved a lot since we moved to Iterable 4 years ago, so any comparison is legacy. Keeping that in mind, Iterable is far more sophisticated, especially the journey builder, personalised STO by user and segmentation.
Braze definitely feels it has more integrated capabilities, however that may be our internal set up. E.g. felt we could do more with segmentation. Easier to optimise campaigns for mobile. Easier to switch between front end & back end HTML building.
We chose Iterable due to flexibility and channel offerings, as well as the overall price of the tool at the time of signing. Iterable for us felt like the do it all tool for our marketing efforts.
Iterable is by far the platform that gives the best level of support from the csms to the tech calls to the support function in the product. All of these platforms do the same thing essentially but iteraly is the one scaling the fastest and provides the best support.
I have previously used Dotdigital, and the way it compares to Iterable is through the reporting capabilities - Dotdigital reporting is, in my opinion, stronger; it provides real-time dashboards and the chance to generate reports for specific timeframes. I have previously used …
Iterable had the most robust personalisation features (handlebars, data catalog, snippets, robust segmentation) and multi-language support. Additionally, security features were higher than those of other alternatives. Close follow-up was Braze, and other platforms were compared …
We are still evaluating but the cost of switching has been the primary reason. In the past, other platforms have not had multi-channel messaging but that is no longer the case.
As mentioned previously, I was hired to do a migration from ActiveCampaign, and I stayed for 2 years as a power user of Itearble. Since leaving OneVision Resources, I have continued to volunteer my time in a regional user group, which I would not do if the platform, product, …
Iterable's geolocation paired with catalog items was something Braze and other platforms just couldn't do. Many tried to offer a workaround, but there just wasn't a legitimate solution anywhere else.
Iterable was more competitive in pricing, the segmentation technology was extremely advanced and fast in comparison with the competitors we analysed, and deliverability and reliability of the system have been fantastic.
Iterable has plug-in capabilities with Movable Ink, in which Movable allows for dynamic content to plug into HTML, text, messages, and utilizes data within Iterable to send dynamic personalized content to customers, great tool in addition to Iterable!
If you're still using SFMC do yourself a favor and explore some of the newer options available. Iterable is a strong competitor unless you need the B2B and account based marketing/support teams all in a single platform. Klaviyo is great and best for small-medium size companies …
I admittedly don't remember much of Klaviyo, as I have become so familiar with Iterable. I definitely prefer Iterable, however. There are so many more features in Iterable and it just feels like a more dynamic and comprehensive experience with more granular data than Klaviyo …
Intercom is not created for marketing purposes and it is quite transparent when you get around to building a campaign with it. It's clunky and often quite frustrating to work with. While Iterable is not perfect, it's a tremendous upgrade. Iterable allows you to have more …
Disaster save your money there are other options out there. We were never able to get off the ground. Due to them being so unflexible, we did not implement anything.
Springbot's account management team is excellent to work with - they understand my business and my goals, and partner with me to achieve on those growth goals - from traffic, to subscribers and revenue.
We were choosing between a few different options when considering a new email marketing program. Previously we were using Constant Contact, but wanted a program that offered more. We looked into Klaviyo as well, but after comparing the two we decided to go with Springbot as …
We are looking at using Tealium to segment our customers now, something we had hoped Springbot would allow us to do. Tealium allows us to segment and send to any channel and any ESP. Springbot would allow us to create segments based on a few demographic, product and purchase …
Iterable is great for delivering your email marketing activity. We've not yet added other channels (although may do soon), but others report that the cross-channel capability is strong. Iterable manages to find the sophistication to enable our ambitions, yet remain user friendly and manageable. We're on a journey from relying heavily on old-fashioned blast emails to automated CRM. Iterable has been a fantastic tool to help us along the way. I particularly enjoy the journey builder that we trigger in multiple ways, from custom events, to list schedules, and user actions.
If you have a small marketing team with a small budget and you use Mailchimp & Adroll, Springbot might work for you. Otherwise, there are other more robust tools out there to accomplish the same goals. They need to work on more integrations with other ESPs and retargeting providers. And they need to work on making sure the data being sent to their customers is accurate.
One of the things that impressed me the most early on was their dedication to email deliverability and growing my "engaged" list of customers. Through this, they taught me the value of quality subscribers vs. quantity of subscribers, while still sharing new ways to grow my email list in a healthy and sustainable manner. For so long, my main focus was always having the biggest email list - and while that's good to have a lot of subscribers, the most important thing is to make sure they are ENGAGED with your brand. So together we've come up with fun ways to do that, and we've seen that reflected in our list growth and open rate.
One of the other things I was looking to do when I partnered with Springbot was to increase my site traffic. The original sales rep had a few recommendations on how we could do this, and our team was most excited about their Facebook Services offering. We were paired with a Facebook expert who did a discovery call with us, and then presented a strategic plan for us to follow for the first 90 days, until we could fully optimize. Their Facebook team narrowed down my target audience and has helped strategically grow my site traffic.
Finally, and maybe the part that I value the most, is the partnership that I've developed with Springbot. Out of the gate, there is absolutely work to do to get things set up and they don't sugar coat that. While much of the onboarding was smooth - we had a few obstacles to work through, and I'm thankful my Success Manager kept me up to date as we resolved anything that came up, and was proactive with her outreach and recommendations to get the most out of the platform. I find myself learning something new each time I chat with her, whether it be optimizations to my automations, new marketing ideas, or ways to increase engagement as I go into the holidays.
After being with them for a year, I feel this is more than a vendor + customer relationship, and think of it as a strategic and valuable partnership.
Locale management: being able to copy and past a template section/row/content from a locale to another. Also, be able to duplicate any locale to any locale. So far we can just duplicate the default locale into the rest of the locales
Outages - I feel in the last 1 and half, more outages are happening, impacting their clients
Its a robust platform that can serve complex business needs. Current and futures. It tries to adapt an newest trends and has good CS and CSM specialists.
Iterable is super easy to use. I have experience with competing platforms, but Iterable is by far the most intuitive platform to use. I also really appreciate the way the product team is willing to accept product requests
I think Springbot is pretty user-friendly overall. The only down-side is that the website is often updated, leaving the customer to hunt certain features down that are now in a different spot. So I think it would be helpful if every so often they sent an email that let customers know what changes were made and where to access everything
Iterable is there like 99.9% of the time. However, when it goes down, it grinds us to a halt. Most of the time, outages are an hour or less, but if that's at a peak time, it can be a nightmare. That said, when the worst does happen, there are frequent updates and an easy situation tracker that give you an estimate of how much longer you'll have to wait for the issue to be resolved.
The API is super quick. The UI can be a little sluggish depending on what you're loading, but overall Iterable performs great. Iterable appears to do a good job of making processes async so that one action isn't blocking another.
I've never experienced any issues with Iterable. As I and my colleagues have learnt the system and it's features, response to questions and advice from our account manager is always quick. Kevin knows the product well, and with the few tricky questions has hasn't been able to answer he's been quick to get back to us.
They only cared about referencing the user agreement to get out of any common sense discussion I tried to have. They have one goal take your money and don't care if the system is working for you or not.
When we were benchmarking CRM platforms, we analyzed many of them. Mailchimp's transactional solution, mandrill, was our previous provider, but we needed the Developer team's assistance in all our campaigns. Salesforce was a more complex platform, but it proved too complex for our Marketing team, and the price was higher. ActiveCampaign didn't have the solutions in place to support 40 different locales with the autonomy that Iterable offers.
We were choosing between a few different options when considering a new email marketing program. Previously we were using Constant Contact, but wanted a program that offered more. We looked into Klaviyo as well, but after comparing the two we decided to go with Springbot as they offered a wide variety of insights and had wonderful customer service.
We've definitely tested scalability, and it's no line - it works. The process is pretty easy. Most of the times it goes off without a hitch. Any time we do encounter issues, our support team is quick to get on the job and very communicative as they work us through a successful launch.
Great ROI, for the cost we're getting amazing value out of the product. We couldn't do much of our marketing without it.
This is one of our best tools to drive customer retention. It's hard enough to get a customer to your product in the first place but Iterable helps us get those customer to keep coming back time and time again.
Testing functionality, we've ramped up our testing with our own ML tools to pair with Iterables AI tools to power up our customer engagement strategy.
