marketgoo vs. Moz Link Explorer

Literally, my website traffic more than doubled in a few weeks after implementing MarketGoo. I continue to improve my rankings as well. I have used Google Analytics, Google Search Console. I have explored www.Moz.com, www.RabbitSEO.com, and countless blogs, Youtube videos, and podcasts on SEO. Hands down MarketGoo beats them all with their clarity, results, and ease of use. I also have consistently received immediate replies to my questions with individualized answers to my specific issues. Truly, this is the perfect solution for small businesses that want to pour as much energy into creative content building and as little as possible on getting great SEO results. I love MarketGoo!

It is helpful if you are trying to understand where a site stands in terms of the links coming to it from different websites. It is less helpful in terms of providing specific actions or steps to take to get more links. However, it is a part of a larger Moz package so other areas provide information that can help there.

• The most helpful feature of MarketGoo is that it shares a simple plan to optimize your website in layman's terms.
• It also educates you what the priorities are so you can focus on the biggest impacts first as you optimize your website.
• I also get immediate (and friendly,) personalized responses to all of my questions.
• The price point cannot be beat.

• Moz Link Explorer has a straightforward and easy to use interface. It’s very simple to navigate and understand the data.
• The anchor text tool gives you an idea of the most widely used anchor texts other websites use when linking to your site. It can raise a red flag when too many sites are linking to you using exact match keyword anchor texts.

• Occasionally the steps suggested are too generic for me to decipher so I have to inquire further to see if the suggestion is truly recommended for me.
• There could be more guidance for social media SEO also, as I currently have to use other resources specifically for these types of SEO that I am working on.
• Another area that I would love is if they had a monthly live/chat session (Facebook live, Periscope, etc...) just to keep momentum, provide group support, and help us in smaller businesses know what others are doing so we can best stay current.
• A monthly newsletter sharing internet updates would be helpful since things change so rapidly.

• You need to subscribe to Moz Pro to get all features, which is pricey if you aren’t using the tool regularly.
• I’ve found that competitor tools give larger lists of inbound links.
• You’ll need some understanding of how SEO works to maximize the tool. Would non-SEO specialists understand the difference between domain authority and page authority, or the difference between follow back, and non-follow backlinks? Moz offers lots of training resources, but it takes time to learn what you need.

No renewal is necessary with the free version!

I put a middling score here because of the difference in support between the free and premium uses. The Free tool was a great service, but there wasn't much support. It was tool that was intended to have a skilled SEO utilize it and save time. The Premium version has great support, but also offered more information so that skilled SEOs and novices alike could benefit from the tool.

I also used rabbitseo.com, store metrics, the Weebly analytics and many more that I sampled. I just found them lacking in really giving me a clear, simple prioritized plan. I do not have specific training in computer coding or marketing so I need something like MarketGoo to break it down for me and out things in layman's terms and not overwhelm me with analytics that do not pertain to me

Ahrefs is much more comprehensive than Open Site Explorer. If you are in need of a deep backlink analysis there are better options out there for your money. If you need a quick look at the state of a client's backlink profile than OSE is for you. It will give you the top metrics you are looking for and then some. I find OSE to be more user-friendly than competitors

• MarketGoo has more than doubled my website traffic and I continue to improve in rankings.
