Chose Microsoft Exchange
Microsoft Exchange is the DeFacto groupware product. It handles mail and calendar so well that it is mostly unrivaled. While I used Zimbra at a previous employer, we ended up moving to Microsoft Exchange because of better Outlook use and the overall Microsoft Exchange product …
Google Workspace has much more limited functionality compared to Exchange. I believe it is a bit cheaper on the most basic subscription tier but that's about the only reason to consider using it. It may also be worth considering if you have other workloads using Google Cloud …
We have not tried other Email server products yet, but we are about to make this step in the near future. We are definitely going to try several Linux-based Email Server solutions so that we can choose the one that better suits our needs. Have some time to do this, as our …
We had a Zimbra on-premise server earlier and were pretty satisfied with it. But when compared with the advanced features of the Microsoft Exchange server, we could easily justify our purchase team to go for this since we already have O365 apps.
Microsoft Exchange Product The best cloud-based enterprise-grade archiving platform with a host of features that enable files to be securely archived and retrieved with advanced search options. This tool is very easy to use and has a User-friendly interface. It is a highly …
Both items are used by me on a daily basis. Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint don't seem to have a lot in common to me. When working with the Exchange platform, it's all about scheduling events in the calendar and sending emails. I was able to find the most crucial …
Most of the 365 subscriptions include desktop and cloud versions of Microsoft programs. These "traditional" software may be installed on a desktop computer and used offline without any problems, as long as you have a working Internet connection. Because so many firms still …
1) The cost per user is almost the same (around $3 USD more than Google Workspace) but the Office tools that Microsoft includes are the best in the market. The end-users are really adapted to them and the other tools like Google Sheets and Google Documents are really bad. 2) …
Given all businesses I have worked for used Windows OS and Microsoft applications, it makes sense to stick with Microsoft Exchange. It's a given that if you use Microsoft applications you should use Microsoft Exchange.
Microsoft Exchange is used by several companies worldwide due to its versatility and competitive rates which includes Office 365 (depending on the license purchased), it stacks up against other vendors e.g., Google. MS Exchange provides shared mailboxes which are not available …
In comparison to Amazon SES, Microsoft Exchange was significantly more flexible and customizable. Amazon SES seems more complicated from an administrative standpoint. It became more difficult for us to consider migrating to a new platform since our workers were more comfortable …
It has better ease of integration with the servers and company data. It has a relatively better cost compared to all the tools available. The privacy features and capabilities are something best in class.
Office 365 is not recommended for shared use so we are using Microsoft Exchange. This helps to have access to multiple users and easy access to emails and calendars to provide support round the clock.
Microsoft Exchange offered far more flexibility and customization than Google Workspace. From an administration perspective, it seemed easier to work with Exchange than with Gsuite/Google Workspace. Our employees were more familiar with Microsoft and their comfort level made …
I myself am a front-end user of both products. I don't really see too much of a comparison between Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SharePoint. When using the Exchange platform it is more about calendar appointments and email communication. Using share Point I was able to …
Microsoft is more sturdy and feature-packed than GSuite. Especially with the Office integrations, even though the UI doesn't stand up against them, it offers way better features and is just more convenient to use for what we require at our organization.
Office 365 is pure ease. You get excellent compatibility with the entire Microsoft Office suite, as well as affordable access to Microsoft Office applications. All of this is supported by Microsoft's extremely dependable cloud. It's a great option for small businesses that …
We use Zimbra for some specific tasks in our company. Microsoft has superiority over Zimbra in terms of the graphical user interface. I like the Microsoft exchange interface as it is more futuristic. Also, Microsoft exchange has a better user experience. Zimbra mail can be …
It gives the impression of being a more professional and more robust tool. Despite the large amount of data, it always manages them at its best, without performance problems.
Google workspace has excellent spam filtering, but poor customizability without resorting to third-party software or hacks/workarounds. Microsoft 365 has its own problems. We are currently using both Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online (Microsoft 365) to handle mailbox …
We found the Microsoft Exchange to be more robust and loaded with features which made our life easy and our ability to communicate and provide\get updates more efficient. Microsoft Exchange provided more advanced security features which were what our organization was looking …
The only other product we’re currently evaluating is on the Veeva side — Veeva Campaign. It’s a relatively new product that Veeva has released; it’s only been about six or seven months since it went into general availability. So time will tell whether it can compete with …
Apart from Marketing Cloud we have one reach that we have used and to tell you the good stuff is like now we are getting rid of One Reach and we are moving all our text stuff as well to the marketing cloud. So that much we have confidence in Marketing Cloud and that much we are …
I have worked with all three providers across different businesses and seen the benefit of each one in different ways. It is good that Salesforce Marketing Cloud connects well with salesforce as a sales management CRM. Hubspot is a lot. more user friendly of an interface and …
I find the data stored in the database is very much cleansed and hence the overall decision making process improves. Also the customised emails, digital marketing features stacks the Salesforce Marketing Cloud way above others
We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud for lead management, generating reports, tracking customer and dealer information, inputting orders, and more. I prefer HubSpot for email marketing and automation because it is easier to use and the emails are designed much better. We …
I used Marketo for years and found it to be robust yet also fairly intuitive to navigate. When I joined my current role, they had just implemented Salesforce Marketing Cloud. I was initially not a fan, but since using the tool and navigating some complexities, I see the true …
I think that all of the marketing platforms I have evaluated and used in the past serve different markets and purposes. Salesforce Marketing Cloud was more palatable to our team because of our existing tech stack where we had Salesforce CRM already deployed and in use. Compared …
Hubspot is more user friendly, more intuitive, and has functionality built in from the start that allows you to get things off the ground faster than SFMC. I use SFMC because that is the current platform at my employer.
Mailchimp is great for simple email use. It's straightforward and great for beginners in the email space. It does not offer nearly as much in the way of complexity as Salesforce Marketing Cloud does, so is limited with what it can do. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is much more …
It has more features and a fuller capacity for all things marketing. Pardot was clunky and lacked a good email builder. It wasn't my choice to select this software, but I see its value, and the team has benefitted from it. We hope they continue to improve functionality and …
Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a more comprehensive product than HubSpot Marketing Cloud. It integrates better with multiple channels, is a powerful audience builder, and is an efficient AI. However, Salesforce Marketing Cloud is also more expensive and requires Salesforce.com …
Salesforce Marketing Cloud stands out for its comprehensive features, scalability, and seamless integration capabilities. Compared to other platforms, its unified suite of tools for email, social media, mobile, and advertising enables streamlined cross-channel campaign …
Not to sound like I am completely against Salesforce Marketing Cloud, I believe HubSpot has worked alot on their marketing platform to simplify the interface along with keeping the rich functions a marketing platform would want. Campaign monitor is a bit more basic, but perfect …
My previous organization used Pardot and also Mailchimp. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is more powerful than both of those tools and integrates more deeply with Salesforce CRM.
Overall, 80 percent of the features and boiler plate and standard across all these tools. Salesforce leads in integrations and global scalability. But lacks in User interface and ease of use.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud offers many opportunities for personalization and supports big data integration. It features powerful tools like SQL for data and AMPscript for email creation. If someone wants to master the platform, it might require some initial learning, which I …
We use these both in conjunction together now rather than rivals as the data that can be held in both does differ slightly and one platform email maker is slightly better so we do a lot of the creative in one platform and then have it link in and have all the data flow into the …
For our clients, the switch to an entirely independent (parallel processing) Microsoft Exchange Server was a lifesaver because previous software versions frequently crashed. The clever viva add-on informs me of any things that are still uncompleted in my large email to-do lists. Migrating to Office 365 has never been easier because to the meticulous preparation that has gone into it. Web applications will load more quickly.
I rated this a seven because I love Salesforce, and it is excellent on the sales side. However, the marketing side has some pros and cons. It is terrific for keeping track of lead, customer, and dealer information, but it is not easy to automate workflows, integrate other software, or create well-designed emails. It is also straightforward to generate reports, which is very helpful in keeping track of lead progression to better market those leads and turn them into customers.
An in-built calendar to manage your daily work schedule. Let's you create events, invite a particular group of people, accept invitations, and remind you of your upcoming meetings and tasks.
I also like the daily emails we get from Exchange that ask you to set aside time for yourself or your other hobbies to take a short break from monotonous work.
The email categorization feature is pretty good, especially the sort/search filtering option to navigate through your emails, which can also go through your deleted emails.
It has an excellent spam-filtering feature which greatly reduces the chance of malware and spam. I have hardly seen spam emails get through their filter. On the other hand, it also recognizes emails from external organizations that may be spam, but are important work emails.
The two main factors for the better reliability & Uptime of internally hosted Exchange Server depends on Exchange Server configuration and the level of investment the organization is willing to provide for hosting the Exchange Server On-Premise Environment. As the data is stored in the organization’s hardware, any disaster may lead to the loss of email and servers.
Losing data might affect business continuity and rebuilding it can be costly.
Security remains a major concern.
Security of data loss is main concern. To ensure that, organization needs to configure networks, systems and Exchange platform against possible threats.
Email and calendars in a business setting are requirements. And Microsoft continues to be the standard of business applications. Microsoft 365 makes Microsoft Exchange easy to use. Everything is in the cloud. Let Microsoft take care of the hardware, the software, and the security. You just enable your business users with the functionality they need.
We are happy with Pardot. It has made our jobs easier and installed some reporting functions that have increased our ROI with the company. We have worked hard to set-up the functions in Pardot and it has taken time, but paid off.
Microsoft Exchange has come a long way over the years and has nowhere near the technical overhead required for support as it did back in 2003/2007 and prior. The integrations with Teams, Defender, Sharepoint, Copilot and many other products make it a solid and well-rounded tool used for many day-to-day tasks.
You won't find another solution that has as many features as Salesforce Marketing Cloud Interaction Studio. We all know Salesforce, we all know how big they are and it's not for nothing... Their tools do most of the things you want, need and even imagine. Using it is complicated, but the usability is infinite.
Upgrades and timing of the upgrades were communicated well and planned during off hours for our work. If we did have a campaign scheduled during that time, it would kick-off after the system was back active. There were a few unplanned system down times, but it was a rare occurrence and those times were also short in duration.
Though the make up of MA apps is not built this way today, it would be nice to see them become more real-time. The integration between Salesforce and Pardot is not a true real-time integration. If I modify something in Salesforce, those changes are not automatically reflected in Pardot immediately. There is a delay of about 15 minutes before the systems sync. This delay, although not long, is less than ideal We would love the systems to be integrated real time such that changes are propagated from one system to the other immediately.
We have a good enterprise agreement with Microsoft which affords us quick phone support. I have found the support staff knowledgeable and prompt with a solution when required. At times it may be difficult to schedule a call back, this is mainly due to our need for calls early in the morning which happens to be during a shift change at Microsoft support.
They are really responsive and more than not solve the problem or give you insight to how you can manage the solution yourself. I do find however sometimes a long delay on the more complex issues when they need to loop in other departments. but overall a good experience with support
Training program is not very well established. There is very little documentations. More often than not it's in-person training. I wish there were more video tutorials so that somebody can learn the system quickly. Their documentation is very much like an RFP. Long and very technichal. They should definitly improve on this area.
Pardot's online training touches on all topics briefly and vaguely without much indepth exploration into how a final outcome could look, such as Nurturing Campaigns, Email templates, landing page templates, etc... The only true way to uncover Pardot's full capabilities is to have Front End design and coding experience. Without this key skill set, I would not recommend Pardot to another business.
Implementation/conversion can be quite complex and, unless you have certified Exchange administrators in-house, you should strongly consider a 3rd party consultant for this implementation.
From an IT perspective, once you set up the Javascript beacon and start collecting data there is a waiting game. During this time you can start labeling your site actions which can be labor intensive for a single person, but you don't really have the final end-users on the platform yet. We did a lot of training so users were experienced, but it wasn't until they had their first tasks to accomplish that they started using the system and had questions. I'd recommend setting up some immediate goals for an end-user to start segmenting for the purpose of displaying message campaigns so you can jump start end-user action.
Microsoft Exchange Product The best cloud-based enterprise-grade archiving platform with a host of features that enable files to be securely archived and retrieved with advanced search options. This tool is very easy to use and has a User-friendly interface. It is a highly reliable platform that allows all employees to automatically store their data without any limitations. It offers a cost-effective solution with customized policy management. We are happy that the customer support team is always fast and concerned, and the product's uninterrupted service experience. It is very good that it stores data in real-time without losing it, even in the event of a disaster. The cost-effective solution and integration with other tools are seamless.
The only other product we’re currently evaluating is on the Veeva side — Veeva Campaign. It’s a relatively new product that Veeva has released; it’s only been about six or seven months since it went into general availability. So time will tell whether it can compete with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or not.
Prior to this, we had no solution and literally were doing things on paper in a world where technology is outpacing paper. Having this process optimized has made it easier for the sales and marketing people to change information. From the training perspective, it has allowed us to see holes in where we could create additional support training, so the ROI here has been a lot more than just the optimization of a process.
