Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud to keep track of our customer information, dealer information, running reports, campaigns, etc. We also do more on Salesforce, like placing orders, etc.; however, that is on the sales side. Salesforce Marketing Cloud is essential for our business because we can see which customers purchased from what dealer and keep track of all that information. We also can run reports to see what areas sell better, what tactics work, how many of each product we sell, and to who so we can market it better.
Pros
- Easy to use.
- Easy to generate and review reports.
- Easily look at customer information.
- Easily look at dealer information.
- Easily see which customers/leads are tied to each dealer (reseller).
Cons
- Automation/ Workflow are not easy to use, we put everything in manually.
- Integration is not the best; SF does not integrate with HubSpot too well, so we manually add the information between the two.
- Hard to create well designed emails.
- Generating reports helps us keep track of lead information.
- It is easy to tie a customer to a dealer to see how well each dealer performs and can help those not performing as well.
- I made different campaigns, like a summer email campaign, but I am not a fan of how the email designs are. They are inconsistent, so the campaign did not perform well.
We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud for lead management, generating reports, tracking customer and dealer information, inputting orders, and more. I prefer HubSpot for email marketing and automation because it is easier to use and the emails are designed much better. We currently use Salesforce and HubSpot, and we are very happy to have both, as they have different pros/cons.
