For how it is used within the organization it is perfectly fine. We use it for benefits, salary, and vacation tracking. It does make it easy to find your information within the system and make changes.

We use SAP Business Technology Platform for the vast majority of our data visualisation and analytical work. The kind of complex report we produce with it can only be displayed using this reporting tool. Two of my favourite aspects are the simplicity with which data can be displayed on it and the adaptability with which settings can be changed to meet specific needs.

I have given this rating because there are points that need to be improved with the Support of the SAP Business Technology Platform. Given that there are lots of components and parts within a low-code platform, often there would be a turnaround whether a certain issue is related to the Platform or the Infrastructure.

1. Sometimes the licensing doesn’t make sense, e.g., Difficult to understand the license for ABAP cloud runtime. 2. When SAP Business Technology Platform workflow cost is very high but process automation which offers more features has less cost.

We have used the plain cloud foundry variant also, and there were many problems we faced while running applications on cloud foundry. We have also used the GCP platform to run our applications here also faced many problems. SAP BTP services and integration of service are strong points to consider it.

  • Surprisingly, SAP has increased our manual human efforts to do our daily tasks through automation.
  • Due to the workflow and automation power betterment, now, after each release, our IT Team is able to configure more complex implementations without writing much of the code.
  • Thanks to small code implementation and easy deployment which has overall reduced time we took to release new features for our end user.
