Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. This enables users to manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system. For example, when onboarding a new employee, Rippling can take a new hire from anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party…

This software could be of great help to many companies to keep an orderly manner and in the same control panel, all the management of their employees. Perfect for human resources departments that want to automate tedious tasks, with the guarantee that they will be well executed.
Great for timekeeping and report approvals. A thorough detailed explanations of user-specific benefits for employer-sponsored benefits or FSA-related benefits could be useful. I enjoy that there are "tip pop-ups" as you're using Rippling on the web browser. It's helpful that it shows you these tidbits when it may be your first time using or navigating that section of Rippling
Allows automatic posting of job offers on different sites and portals to find the perfect candidates for available vacancies.
It has employee tracking tools, such as attendance and absence tracking, as well as time monitoring of working hours and overtime.
Payroll management is very complete and is done quickly and almost automatically, as it enters hours worked, overtime and absences, with an accurate calculation to avoid errors.
Some processes could be more automatic or with fewer clicks, for example, role-based authorization, which, although a security feature, could be simplified.
It is a fairly intuitive and navigable software, but because it is so complete, it has different modules, tools, and functions that can make its learning curve steep.
Some attributes at the time of payroll cannot be changed or customized.
The applicant tracking system UI could be improved; we pivoted to another provider with more robust features that integrates with Rippling
Functionality around manually creating checks or running edits on checks could be improved
User permissions need some work; there should be the ability to have an IT admin profile that can edit user emails without seeing sensitive comp data (we have requested this feature)
Because it is through my current job I would recommend it to other friends with businesses both large and small. It is an easy to use app and it is super helpful and beneficial for time tracking and ensuring accuracy of the time clock. It notifies you when you are close to your allotted PTO limit which is also a neat feature.
Rippling’s usability is probably the best thing about it. I say this because it’s easy to use (even for people who are bad with interfaces or not familiar with HR practices). Once you get to the homepage, it only has a few crucial tabs so Rippling spared all of us the “guess work” that most softwares usually make us go through. You don’t get lost and know how to get to where you need in a matter of seconds
I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.
Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.
Rippling has a knowledge base that is easy to use, very intuitive, and well-organized. The articles are text integrated with animations that teach the user how to configure, set up, process or complete a task. If you are unable to find the exact topic, Rippling's chat function allows you to get in contact with a specialist very quickly. In one occasion, the local treasury department had incorrectly applied withholding deposits to the company's account and created a balance due that was incorrect. Rippling's customer support worked directly with the agency and kept following up on the matter until they correctly applied for all the payments. The issue was resolved without our company's involvement.
Rippling was by far the better option. ADPs offerings were terrible and I would not recommend anyone to go with them. Aside from the poor support/service and inability to be fully customizable, there were glaring issues regarding compliance. When we were in a PEO Model (TotalSource) our rep pushed back on giving us access to EEO, Vets, or disability data that we were required to report on as a federal contractor. We also had issues with them abiding by the terms of our contract. As we were with ADP for the 2022 calendar year in a PEO relationship (under ADP's FEIN), they are responsible for the ACA and 1095s. ADP then claimed that because they sent a letter, which never arrived, that the letter negated the terms of the contract we signed last year and they were not going to be doing the filing for us, even though we had already paid for that service as part of our contract. The other options that we considered and were in our top 3 were BambooHR and Paycor. BambooHR was great from an HRIS perspective but wasn't the best on the Payroll side and our VP of Finance wasn't confident in going with them. Paycor was nice, but just wasn't as robust and didn't offer the services that we really liked with Rippling.
I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.
This program is complete, so it allows to have all the human resources management in the same panel, along with all the information of the employees, which streamlines the activities of the department, making us more productive. Employees feel more satisfied with our performance, and we have considerably lowered payroll complaints.
