Publer vs. SpyFu

Where Publer is well suited: + Organisation of multiple social media accounts for when you have multiple brands + The integration of Google Maps makes it easy to organise multiple locations + Calendar with a nice overview makes it easy to see your social media planning for the following period of time Where it is less suited for: - Comparing competition and ideal posting time is quite a surplus in cost - No native Dutch version

If you have a Google ads PPC campaign and then I would say this is more or less essential if you want to know what your competitors are doing. You can get very useful data out of it even if you subscribe for one month. And the pricing is very reasonable. Even if you don't use Google ads, I would say this is still useful for your SEO/SMO team since it gives you a great idea of what keywords and traffic your competitors are working on.

• Some IG features are currently missing, like syncing with trending sounds, but I think that's more of an API limitation than a fault with Publer
• The website interface can be a bit challenging to navigate. It isn't quite as intuitive as I'd like with where things are placed.
• Some of the terms are confusing, like "recycling" and "recurring." I wish they'd combine these two particular posting options into one.
• I'd also love to see better integration with my personalized AI, trained on my business.

• As with any database, their keyword database has limits, so the data returned is relative to their database, not necessarily the full picture.

I love the tool, is simple and useful

Love this tool but would like insights from all 3 major search engines not just Google. I would also like deeper understanding of the placement for local businesses on Google Places/Maps. Insight into mobile search rankings and best landing pages per industry would also help :) Overall, SpyFu is a necessity for serious search marketers.

The menu is very clear. The big green button for adding a post makes it obvious where to post from. There are all the tools I might need for scheduling, and more. I gave a 9 instead of 10 because I find the "Explore" menu to be superfluous for the way I use Publer and feel it adds clutter to the experience. But honestly - I can just not go to that menu and it's fine.

SpyFu is an easy to use tool, and has a self -explanatroy dashborad to generate the data needed to provide insights into any B2B SEO and PPC campaign. It is not comprehensive, but it certainly provides good enough insight to make it a valuable part of any agency tool stack

The pages do load very quick but in the the iPad form

Every time I have contacted Publer, I get answers right away

SpyFu comes with a link to tutorial videos. I recommend you watch them. The software is capable of so much you really need to watch the videos and learn how to get the most out of it. When I have a question 90% of the time it's there. When it isn't, and I reach out to them, support is always quick and concise.

In our opinion, Sendible is poorly designed and takes too many menus, clicks, opens and closes to perform a simple task. Their pricing structure changes suddenly with price increases and loss of seats. Socialbee was a contender but had restraints for a multi brand company that we did not want to workaround.

I was surprised to find I preferred Semrush when it comes to keyword research. SpyFu is great (and less expensive than Semrush), but I felt the data Semrush provided was vaster than SpyFu. I was able to get more competitors spending insights in Semrush than SpyFu. Overall, I liked the ability to use both in our keyword research for both paid and organic marketing.

I just used the web integration

I think this is well designed product. I really enjoy that I am able to learn it quick, integrate all the socials very easily

• I can on-charge the price of the subscription within my package, so I can charge it out for what I want, allowing me to make some profit
• Every one of my clients has loved using it, so they are more inclined to keep using our social media services
• Publer helps my business to look professional
