This enables users to manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system. For example, when onboarding a new employee, Rippling can take a new hire from anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party…

For the most part, my day-to-day activities in Rippling are very easy to execute. It was a breeze getting set up when we first started, and regular work like sending out employment agreements or running payroll is extremely straightforward. For a smaller company like ours, after extensive research, we found it to be the best option. Compared to other similarly priced and rated payroll platforms in the market, they were also the only ones that gave us a demo and walked us through the platform so we could make an informed decision. The biggest downside is how long it took us to get set up with state tax agencies and get all our numbers processed. We're a fully remote company, and it would've been a lot smoother if Rippling had people who could help manage this process, so that we could take care of all our responsibilities without having to worry about that side of things. Having a tax consultant who can handle all the paperwork (even for a fee) would be a great add-on. It's been close to 5 months, and we're still waiting on numbers from North Carolina and it's just because we've never done it before, and aside from some help docs, Rippling doesn't offer much assistance here.
Skilljar is well suited to self-paced courses that need to be accessed by users in any location at any time. It hosts a variety of content that adult learners can use to upskill in the areas that are relevant to them. While you can host live virtual events through the platform, it is not ideal for situations where regular student interactions or instructor facilitation is needed, as there is not a discussion forum feature.
The design is simple. If you're looking for a complex or beautiful platform, this isn't it. However, Skilljar makes things very easy to follow and build within.
Navigating Skilljar is very logical. it is easy to set up a new course and navigate within that course.
Because it is through my current job I would recommend it to other friends with businesses both large and small. It is an easy to use app and it is super helpful and beneficial for time tracking and ensuring accuracy of the time clock. It notifies you when you are close to your allotted PTO limit which is also a neat feature.
Easy to use. I can always find what I am looking for. Enrolling in benefits is a breeze. The learning section is really easy to manage and easy to keep up with what you have done. I also really like how tasks that need to be completed are highlighted as soon as you login
I think it's great overall; so many things are easy to use. However, there is room for improvement. Navigating can be confusing at times - especially when it comes to domains, theming, live event courses and where certain settings live and what you can and can't do from each page
I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.
Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.
Not a ton to say here, I have only had to contact support once in the past year, and the issue was resolved immediately. This is exactly how support should work - pain-free, very responsive, and there when I needed it. If the company is great, then support is one of those things you shouldn't need to think about.
I’m fairly experienced with LMS’ and don’t usually require help or support on topics. The CSM team is quite good overall however more than often time between meetings and solutions (at least from my experience) can take time. Regardless, the team has been helpful and answers all questions - or comes back with an emailed solution
The previous systems I have used have been internally built. In these scenarios, the data and logging of tasks/updates have tended to be clunky and it was hard to easily find the information you need. When it came to looking at par stub details, I had to do my own math and percentage breakdown to make sure my with-holdings actually made sense. In addition logging time off and tracking timesheets was a mess of a process because sometimes you had to manage two systems and old/new versions for certain features.
Compared to other LMS it has great features, plus a faster learning curve and is very easy to manage. Other platforms could be cheaper but are pretty limited, and others have way to much features that we were not going to use and with a very high cost, so complex that the company even would need a specific lms manager, something that we don't have atm
I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.
Our customers seem to be getting onboarded efficiently. Giving our customers a good experience helps us retain them longer.
So far, we are still not able to come up with solid metrics that it provides evidence of ROI. If Skilljar could somehow come up with clear, actionable metrics about customer success and how that relates to ROI then I think it would be vastly better. To be fair, we roll the cost of using Skilljar in the overall price, otherwise, we would charge customers and have a revenue stream to measure.
