Overall Satisfaction with Rippling

In my role at my organization I use Rippling for keeping track of my time off and upcoming time off, keeping track of my pay, accessing health and retirement benefits, signing documents, and looking at corporate charts to see who reports to who and ensuring that information is accurate. I also use it for my flexible savings account.

Pros

  • Keeping track of and entering time off and watching time of approvals
  • Providing fast links to access accounts for health/retirement benefits
  • Extremely convenient access to see how much money is left in my flexible savings account and reordering a new card if I need one

Cons

  • Sometimes finding certain documents can be a challenge without a search bar that analyzes words within the document
  • It would be nice if I got notifications for new updates made by the company to my benefits (an employee left, a new benefit has change, my pay has changed, etc.)
  • That third party authorization through authy is a bit annoying to go through every time I log in, I would love to just login with my username and password and that's it
  • As an individual contributor we have not used Rippling yet in terms of goal calculation and it would be nice to see where I'm at for my bonus payout
  • Many employees are very happy having Rippling compared to their other HR softwares at previous jobs which helps retention
  • Documentation that needs to be signed is much easier to track as opposed to tracking documentation through simple emails
Rippling by far is the best against these other products due to its speed, ease of access, and efficiency. Kronos was severely outdated and the only thing it could really do is track punch in times. Workday is excessively bulky, unaesthetic, and slow to do anything and in addition finding necessary links to access benefits was confusing.

Do you think Rippling delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Rippling's feature set?

Yes

Did Rippling live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Rippling go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Rippling again?

Yes

I have been using Rippling for almost two years now and have never once had an issue with it. There's never been an outage causing me not to be able to use it and there's never been bugs or glitches that have interfered with my day to day use of it.
Considering my past employers used Workday and Kronos, Rippling is miles ahead in terms of a friendly user interface and fast, easy access. For an environment like a fintech, Rippling is definitely the best one considering the need for a fast pace. I think Rippling would be less appropriate for a much older large company like a legacy bank that has built their entire HR systems already off of a different software. Making a transition for a company so large from Workday to Rippling would seem like a bit too much.
