Overall, Rippling is on top of the two products I mentioned because it is easier to use and very simple in terms of interface. We can find all the information we need and access it anywhere and anytime we need it.

Rippling is much better than these other systems. It offers you flexibility, it’s simple to customize, it offers a singular platform user experience, it offers better customer support, it does not require you to be an HRS analyst to manage, and it is fair and pricing.

A small/medium size business is a great space for Rippling to play. They offer many of the "good enough" items that most businesses this size would need. A complex / large organization might not benefit from the "off the shelf" version of Rippling as the workflows/automation/reporting isn't tiered for enterprise level companies. Sometimes we have to make workarounds to avoid paying the extra fees for workflows etc. that come base level for vendors like WorkDay.

UKG Dimensions will work well with a company size of [fewer] than 10,000 employees. Once you hit over 10K, you start to notice that batch jobs will time out, clocks will perform slower or become unresponsive requiring manual restarts and the employee demographic will take hours to complete. Will the vendor has on their roadmap to increase the performance of the product, it is not at that point.

  • Rippling integrates with QuickBooks Online. As such, we no longer have to post our weekly payroll journal entry manually. The payroll journal entry syncs automatically from Rippling to QuickBooks Online weekly. This has helped saved our accounting department time.
  • The onboarding workflows in Rippling are terrific. We have been able to assign tasks to our team when we hire a new team member. This allows are staff to stay organized and it also helps ensure that all tasks are completed in advance of the new hires first day with the company.
  • We use the Rippling spend module to help manage corporate credit cards that are issued to staff members. When a staff member makes a purchase on their corporate card they receive a text message. Once the staff member receives the text message they reply to the text with a picture of the receipt and a memo describing the transaction. This process has helped alleviate the amount of admin time the accounting department spends on gathering receipts and information from card holders.
  • We really like the org chart since it can be accessed by all employees. This allows our staff to see who reports to who and what each employee's job title is. This allows for more effective lines of communication within the organization.

  • The goals can be a bit confusing, with subgoals and parent goals and the way progress is tracked
  • Being able to tie in our Empower 401(k) would be a great feature, if it doesn't already exist
  • Integrated support with Expensify would also be nice, if it doesn't already exist

  • Your business structure is too restrictive and making the application far less flexible
  • Your professional service team needs a lot of improvement, especially in the execution part

Rippling continues to innovate and amaze me with their new innovations and features. Product feedback is taken seriously so I always give it whenever I can and end up seeing results. Rippling is the new wave of HRIS that cannot compare against others in the industry just due to the fact they are super user friendly!

This software program is straightforward enough for an 8th-grade student. We work in a very technical industry, and terminology can become confusing, so we like to make it digestible for grade-schoolers to understand. Otherwise, team members can become bored with the software, which could lead to less activity and involvement, as well as care about their benefits, payroll, etc.

UKG Dimensions is very user-friendly from an employee and supervisor standpoint. It is very robust on an admin level and can get complicated; however, you can do so many things with it that is outweighs the complexity. The security for UKG Dimensions needs to be revamped however. It is very cumbersome and not user-friendly.

I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.

Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.

I only have called once. They have a call center located in India. The people are truly helpful and helped me fixed my problem. They are very responsive and techy enough to know what causes the problem of my Rippling. The only thing that I didn't like and still needs improvement is when they spent an hour to fix my problem.

  • Kronos Workforce Dimensions a new product, and it has a lot of scope for improvement, with future releases. One of the best tools to perform time tracking.
  • Their support team is very knowledgeable, and their SLA's are pretty tight. Any query raised would be addressed in a few hours.
  • Timeclock configuration can be complicated; however, their support team knows the processes and guidelines.

Rippling provides more features than the other products and the user interface is easier to use and integrates better with other platforms. We use NetSuite, and Rippling integrates well with NetSuite. Rippling also is a lot faster when it comes to loading screens and opening pages, PTO, organizational trees, etc

UKG Dimensions provides an enterprise-wide integrated suite for timekeeping, staff scheduling, and clocks. We were an existing Workforce Central customer for timekeeping only and were interested in providing holistic experience between staff scheduling and timekeeping. In addition, [UKG] Dimensions established a great foundation for transitioning our organization from departmental focused scheduling solutions to enterprise.

I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.

  • It is neutral. We enjoy having somewhat of a seamless system between HR, PR, and timekeeping.
  • When a person uses the Reset Password link, the system sends the user an email with a link to set their password. Then when the person logs in with their new password, the system forces the user to change their password a second time. This second password change is unnecessary and creates confusion.
