I’ve used other platforms in the past, but once I started using Omnisend, I knew I didn’t want to switch. No doubts. It’s always evolving, always on track.
Omnisend was easier to use than Mailchimp from a non techy user. In my opinion, the change in ownership of Mailchimp has resulted in drastic, draconian and totally over the top reaction against loyal ethical customers without care or concern.
For email campaigns we use Omnisend since the beginning. For product reviews, we used to have Yotpo app but we got rid off it as it got expensive with volume increase on our platform. Also, they did not consider our custom domain request. So, we switch to Omnisend for that as …
We can create marketing campaigns that can span across multiple channels so that we can reach more customers regardless of the platform they are using. The system combines multiple channels into a single workflow for maximum engagement. Comes with various features that make it …
I would say Omnisend is fairly similar in UX, usability, pre-built content templates, and customizable features. I chose Omnisend because it seemed simple to start and the price was within budget. The list segmentation and contact import features feel superior to the other …
By far, Omnisend is my preferred mail software. The program has several customizations and options in the free plan that you do not receive on other mail software programs.
At first I went through the standard choice, which is MailChimp. It's a nice-looking program and everything, but I wouldn't say they're user-friendly. It's quite techy and when you have an ecommerce store you really just want to get the results. It's a lot of work to create …
Disaster save your money there are other options out there. We were never able to get off the ground. Due to them being so unflexible, we did not implement anything.
Springbot's account management team is excellent to work with - they understand my business and my goals, and partner with me to achieve on those growth goals - from traffic, to subscribers and revenue.
We were choosing between a few different options when considering a new email marketing program. Previously we were using Constant Contact, but wanted a program that offered more. We looked into Klaviyo as well, but after comparing the two we decided to go with Springbot as …
We are looking at using Tealium to segment our customers now, something we had hoped Springbot would allow us to do. Tealium allows us to segment and send to any channel and any ESP. Springbot would allow us to create segments based on a few demographic, product and purchase …
So, when everything goes smoothly, all companies seem great. But the real test comes when things go wrong — that’s when you see a company’s true face and values. Not so long ago, we, as a company, ran into some serious issues: domain reputation problems, bugs in our email programs, and more. And of course, all of this happened right in the middle of a newsletter campaign — perfect timing, right? But here’s the thing: the Omnisend team and their local partners are absolute professionals. I’m not super technical, and a lot of the behind-the-scenes stuff is beyond me, but the support team guided me step by step with patience, clarity, and real-life examples throughout the whole investigation process. I’m genuinely happy I chose this platform. No matter what the issue was or what caused it, they treated it like their own and committed to helping me solve it. Polite. Fast. Warm. Professional. That’s the standard Omnisend sets — and it's a tough one for competitors to match. I also want to give a personal thank you to Baarath — we exchanged quite a few emails, and he really stood out. While support shifts change, he became my support superhero. All the best to the Omnisend team — keep doing what you do!
If you have a small marketing team with a small budget and you use Mailchimp & Adroll, Springbot might work for you. Otherwise, there are other more robust tools out there to accomplish the same goals. They need to work on more integrations with other ESPs and retargeting providers. And they need to work on making sure the data being sent to their customers is accurate.
Newsletter campaigns - the content editor is the usual one you see on email marketing apps, but it works so smoothly and well. Of course, there's Product Picker that allows you to just pick a product from your store and it goes straight into your newsletter--no need to add images or descriptions. Really easy.
Popups are great because they look amazing right out of the box. It's all pre-filled so if you don't like looking at a blank screen, you can just adapt the wording and it's there. voila!
Automation really is nice and it's the bulk of what we're doing now. It's like second level ecommerce marketing I guess, because you really see after some time how having automated steps can really save you time and make you a lot more money. Omnisend's automations are really good and intuitive and was really easy to learn and implement.
One of the things that impressed me the most early on was their dedication to email deliverability and growing my "engaged" list of customers. Through this, they taught me the value of quality subscribers vs. quantity of subscribers, while still sharing new ways to grow my email list in a healthy and sustainable manner. For so long, my main focus was always having the biggest email list - and while that's good to have a lot of subscribers, the most important thing is to make sure they are ENGAGED with your brand. So together we've come up with fun ways to do that, and we've seen that reflected in our list growth and open rate.
One of the other things I was looking to do when I partnered with Springbot was to increase my site traffic. The original sales rep had a few recommendations on how we could do this, and our team was most excited about their Facebook Services offering. We were paired with a Facebook expert who did a discovery call with us, and then presented a strategic plan for us to follow for the first 90 days, until we could fully optimize. Their Facebook team narrowed down my target audience and has helped strategically grow my site traffic.
Finally, and maybe the part that I value the most, is the partnership that I've developed with Springbot. Out of the gate, there is absolutely work to do to get things set up and they don't sugar coat that. While much of the onboarding was smooth - we had a few obstacles to work through, and I'm thankful my Success Manager kept me up to date as we resolved anything that came up, and was proactive with her outreach and recommendations to get the most out of the platform. I find myself learning something new each time I chat with her, whether it be optimizations to my automations, new marketing ideas, or ways to increase engagement as I go into the holidays.
After being with them for a year, I feel this is more than a vendor + customer relationship, and think of it as a strategic and valuable partnership.
Initial setup wasn't firing right, support issue was handled pretty quickly and easily.
It does not go back and put previous orders/customers into the automation. It will only work with go-forward customers from the time you install the product. (At least that's what the outcome of our support inquiry told us...).
Would like to see more sample templates and campaigns.
Im so so happy how everything goes so smooth! Its so good for small businesses. I hope I will grow my audience and I will go on paid version bcs they really deserve my money.
I think Springbot is pretty user-friendly overall. The only down-side is that the website is often updated, leaving the customer to hunt certain features down that are now in a different spot. So I think it would be helpful if every so often they sent an email that let customers know what changes were made and where to access everything
Support is weird. They ask you to keep everything in one thread, but they can't see your replies if they forward it to tech, and things easily get lost. Also tech support is HORRIBLE, they just seem snobby, and give horrible advice liek to test things on a live version vs staging
They only cared about referencing the user agreement to get out of any common sense discussion I tried to have. They have one goal take your money and don't care if the system is working for you or not.
At first I went through the standard choice, which is MailChimp. It's a nice-looking program and everything, but I wouldn't say they're user-friendly. It's quite techy and when you have an ecommerce store you really just want to get the results. It's a lot of work to create one simple newsletter and their customer support is pretty much non-existent. As for Klaviyo, they're pretty expensive. We just couldn't justify paying that much for results that were pretty much similar to MailChimp--in that it wasn't really impressive. Omnisend really was a breath of fresh air and their support must not sleep at all cause they answer all my smart and stupid questions within like 15 minutes. Every single time
We were choosing between a few different options when considering a new email marketing program. Previously we were using Constant Contact, but wanted a program that offered more. We looked into Klaviyo as well, but after comparing the two we decided to go with Springbot as they offered a wide variety of insights and had wonderful customer service.
