The system is good for Customer Success teams to get started and if all the users are updating it responsibly. There are not many checks and balances in the system so your team will have to be disciplined. The reason why I have not been generous with my rating is only because of the slow nature of support and upgrades to the product.

WalkMe

WalkMe is well suited to large enterprises that have a customer-facing web presence and are looking to offload some of the general customer service calls to an ai-driven, automated remediation platform. WalkMe would not be useful for smaller companies or ones that don't have an interactive external-facing web site.

WalkMe

  • Walk-thrus: It's their bread and butter and where they excel. I can take someone that is familiar with our product and using WalkMe they can quickly build engaging walk-thrus that walk a user from the beginning to the end of a process. Using the logic engine built into WalkMe they can build rules for error messages, wrong turns, abandoned pages, or even steps that require them to wait while they leave our system and come back a day later.
  • Launchers: Another one of their staples, but a great tool. We can tie these launchers to an element on a page and quickly add help to a page. We have also used this to overcome design flaws. We added a button to a page and it is used more than the hardcoded link to the same page.
  • Goals: Goals can be added to each walk-thru and allow us to track the effectiveness of our walk-thrus and the behavior of our users. Sometimes a walk-thru will expose unexpected behaviors of our users. Goals will also continue to track after a user closes the walk-thru. So we will still know the outcome of a walk-thru even if the users feels that they can continue without the walk-thru.

  • Next steps: I want one field where I can write myself a narrative of what's happening with a client and what my next steps are.
  • Integration seems janky... sometimes things get erased randomly or integration points on specific account seem to break down... big bummer when this happens

  • The biggest con of using WalkMe is they are lacking in providing clean and fast UI.
  • Platform becomes slow sometimes and often lagging on various tabs.
  • It gets really slow while logging n as it takes a lot of time to log in easily.

The UI is great and usability is not an issue. There are no complex workflows or screen to go through. Once Strikedeck is setup properly by the Admin team, the use of Strikedeck is pretty straightforward for the end user. By setting appropriate values in the customer record the dashboards will get updated to reflect the changes. There is no concern of usability with Strikedeck although it may be lacking some features.

WalkMe has done a great job of making their tool easy to use. However because it is a Firefox plugin it causes me to need another browser and sacrifice the left 2 - 3 inches of my display, when working on a laptop this makes it a bit painful. Also when publishing you can organize your list of walk-thrus, the window size is small and limited to the constraints of the WalkMe tool.

The support of StrikeDeck is not the best we have experienced. You have to follow up multiple times for new features or releases. The support team is not very responsive. The other challenge we face with Strikedeck is that new features and releases are not notified and we have to reach out for any updates.

The WalkMe Support Team was phenomenal. My support rep made a genuine effort to ensure my success with using the WalkMe Software. She was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable on the software. If there was a question she did not know the answer too, she would find the answer and get back to me as soon as possible

I believes it beats them out head to head. The account alerting, feedback management, and reporting and analytics I feel are definitely stronger and more detailed in Strikedeck. The fact they do offer both a free trial and free version, there is no reason not to test them out and pick for yourself which you actually like better.

WalkMe

WalkMe is an outstanding platform and its technical support is so calm and professional. Always listen to the queries well and respond out with the alternative or solution to increase a good experience of the user. The best feature of WalkMe which I like the most is the integration with other software. WalkMe can easily integrate with other third-party software which I was already using in the company for the past few years. It integrates with them very well and starts helping in other functions as well. It helps me a lot in changing and advancing my previous software.
