WalkMe

Because our product allows a lot of freedom and customization, help is often needed to get started. WalkMe gives my team a tool other than just a static knowledge base article to help a customer. Until we were using WalkMe we had knowledge articles and video tutorials. The video tutorials were more engaging but took more time to create. Now in the time it takes, or less, to create a knowledge base article we are able to create an interactive guided experience

  • Phenomenal customer support.
  • It has very useful tools and features -- new features are released regularly, consistently improving the software.
  • Very intuitive UI -- implementing the WalkMe software within our platform was extremely quick and easy.

Cons

  • If you miss your contract renewal cancellation window (even by a few days), they will strong-arm you into renewing even if you've clearly stated that you're unhappy with the service
  • The platform isn't the most stable. We experienced multiple bugs across their walkthrough feature and NPS feature
  • You have to use limited browsers for setting things up, admin panel is not the most user-friendly, and overall product quality and experience does not reflect the cost

WalkMe has done a great job of making their tool easy to use. However because it is a Firefox plugin it causes me to need another browser and sacrifice the left 2 - 3 inches of my display, when working on a laptop this makes it a bit painful. Also when publishing you can organize your list of walk-thrus, the window size is small and limited to the constraints of the WalkMe tool.

The WalkMe Support Team was phenomenal. My support rep made a genuine effort to ensure my success with using the WalkMe Software. She was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable on the software. If there was a question she did not know the answer too, she would find the answer and get back to me as soon as possible

  • WalkMe helps our trainers by having to spend less time training our customers. Customers one learn in their own time and get the proper perspective they need.
  • WalkMe eliminates tech support calls. The previous platform had poor Help content, and therefore the first instinct of the user was to pick up the phone. Now, the clean, informative, and well-organized layout of WalkMe makes finding answers a lot easier.
  • WalkMe eliminates "churn" for internal users. They now know the one place to go for the answers rather than reaching out to other users, or creating and maintaining their own content.
