Brex vs. Perk

Very well suited for founders who are building companies in the US but are not US citizens. Works like a charm for start-ups who are looking for a cutting-edge product and not an outdated bank! Small-medium teams. Not well suited for those who are used to traditional banking and prefer in-person interaction or over the phone.

Very helpful in saving time and costs when it comes to planning business travel, tracking expenses, and reimbursement management. Their support team is friendly and comprehensive, they manage to do changes to our reservations within 10 hours before our trip with no extra costs. I can't find a scenario where it is less appropriate.

• Rewards - The rewards were the main reason for us switching. Our previous card provider did not have a good rewards program.
• User Interface and experience - When a charge is recorded on the Brex card, users immediately receive a text notification asking them to send a picture of their receipt. Brex automatically attaches the receipts to the charge which has saved our users a significant amount of time.

• Very clean, attractive interface. TravelPerk is easy to use and looks great.
• Good customer support. When I've had trouble with bookings, TravelPerk support responds quickly and addresses the issue.
• You can easily add personal travel information (e.g., frequent flyer numbers) that are automatically applied to your flights, no need to add it manually with each booking.

• It can be somewhat confusing to transfer money between the credit card and bank side
• More help identifying areas of overspending
• More help tracking spending around specific accounts

• Truly awful customer service agents who are careless and make mistakes constantly
• Inability to see other travelers on the App, even as an admin
• AE does not escalate issues quickly or seriously enough

It has worked well for us for at least 5 years so I would anticipate us keeping Brex

The usability is pretty great. I love the UI / UX for uploading the Memo; at times, I do not even need to be inside the platform. I simply use Slack.

Prompt and always extremely fast to respond. I also think the intuitiveness of their solution negates the need for much support

Divvy allows you to get hyper focused in on how much individuals are allowed to spend. Honestly it is comparable to Brex, but is more well suited for micromanaging organizational spend. Brex is good because I am able to give my employees limits that match our budgets and I don't care about micromanaging their spend.

Travel Perk can be globally used from all of our Offices, worldwide, applying the same regulations and corporate Credit Cards. It searches for all Airlines and Hotels, listening results according to priorities and search metrics.

• No fee wire transfer.
• Net 60 credit card terms is good for our cashflow.
• Fast and easy employee credit cards saves us time.
