Overall Satisfaction with Automation Anywhere

We have been using Automation Anywhere for multiple processes within our organization for more than a year now. It was the best software where even my nontechnical employees can play moderator to some extent. We have suggested to many of our professional peers about the advantages of this software and how it saves costs on manpower to a large extent.
  • Sales order processing.
  • Daily reporting through mails automation.
  • Purchase order processing.
  • Payroll processing.
  • Coding is not that complex.
  • Process design flow should be simple than the present feature.
  • Nothing much but requirements keep adding with complexity, so automation becomes complex for now. That should be one more area of improvement soon.
  • Quick ROI - 6 months precisely.
  • Saving manpower costs.
  • Improved productivity.
Automation Anywhere has many software adaptors which are supportive enough for quick and easy integration. Complex automation tasks can be performed in a better way when compared with UiPath ROA software.
Where we are having huge manpower expenditures for our internal processes and all the processes where we can't take the risk of compliance issues or errors with respect to data processing. If there are too many human interventions required then for such kind of processes this software is not suitable.

Using Automation Anywhere

10 - They represent multiple functions related to financial, shared services, account management, Salesforce management and a couple of other functions where we are using multiple manpower previously for routine daily tasks.
2 - That is not a complex skill requirement. One need to have to learn the bot management skills and basic programing skills for any tech glitches in event of occurrence

  • Nothing innovative for now. The product itself is an innovation.
  • Nothing new to start with but we have a lot of requirements to work on using this software in the near future.

Automation with time and cost savings which are key factors for any company's operational effectiveness.
I am pretty sure my preferences and love for this software will never change but my expectations do increase in the future for sure

Yes - Discovery and Training initially followed by pilot and then with full implementation for all the functions one by one
Change management was a big part of the implementation and was well-handled - Employee empowerment is the one and only key factor which we need to focus upon.

Without training using this software will enable the users to rethink their decision because we feel training is mandatory for using this software and I do recommend it.

Nothing much to recommend for now
No - we have not done any customization to the interface
Some - we have added small pieces of custom code - We used small codes based upon the business use case we dealt with

Automation Anywhere Support

For now we have not faced any issues apart from few basic issues which we were able to fix using first level support from them.

Yes - It the issue is a hindrance to progress with our productivity or production gets a halt, I think we can opt for a premium support but right now we feel it is not required.
The mobile app functionality is a great addition to their software. I am sure we will start using that too.

Yes - I have not tried it yet but I keep getting the updates through their newsletters on regular basis and I have read some interesting functionalities it gives through some articles by people who have already used it
