We use Azure and CRM for our computing solutions under our domain! It works every time, there are days that it seems slow performing, but we have never experienced any serious downtime. We're able to provide faster support and response to our business partners within our organization.
  • Easy to set up and login.
  • Easy end to end integration of all the apps and data.
  • User interface or designer to configure the actions should be improved.
  • Business processes are a bit difficult to visualize using this app.
We're able to automate the business processes and implement workflows and provide easy integration with various tools internally. It helps design the workflows and allows for the implementation of business logic, and provides numerous connectors to connect different enterprise applications to be integrated easily into the workflow. It's well suited for all areas; it all depends on the business needs and where we can get the most of the features that is available based on our current subscription plan.

We have deployed Microsoft Azure Logic Apps to create real-time workflows. It has numerous connectors that have greatly simplified the way we connect with highly scalable systems. Microsoft Azure has quickened the processes of developing B2B integration solutions for a better flow of data between systems. Blob storage provides an effective hosting environment and automatically directs and processes requests across cloud and onsite systems.
  • It has an extensive amount of connectors.
  • SFTP for sharing files ensures efficient sharing of files to emails which stimulates logic apps.
  • Several options for languages.
  • It falls short of alerting capabilities.
  • Microsoft Azure should be unclouded with its pricing. We don't always know how much an inclusion will affect the monthly price. So we have to speculate where we are with the price and if we can afford to include another asset.
Microsoft Azure ensures seamless integrations and connectivity both in and out of the Microsoft ecosystem. It has multiple integrations and many options for different languages. Its reliability is part of what makes it a great choice for large-scale organizations. However, Microsoft Azure could use some transparency about its pricing and the cost of additional resources to it.

To move a package from one resource group to another, we utilized Azure Logic Apps. It served as an excellent means of connecting a wide range of cloud-based services. You can start with the templated solutions and then learn more about what you can accomplish. In order to keep track of various indicators, we connected these activities with a variety of software solutions.
  • Plenty of options for integrating with other systems
  • Affordability
  • Simple management and integration of the system
  • Configuring a workflow might be a difficult task
  • It's a lot of work to do sophisticated custom work with it
  • There's room for improvement in the user interface
Because all you have to do is enter the data, pre-built connections for various protocols make installation a snap. On Azure Docs, the documentation is rather good, and the staff who maintains it is fast to answer any questions you may have. We've also been able to cut down on the amount of time we spend dealing with email process issues. It's simple to teach individuals how to utilize logic applications.

Simply put I use Azure Logic currently to my help organize and streamline all the tools and resources I use on a daily basis. The problem the product addresses is with them easily and efficiently being able to create workflows in order to get tasks done. These tasks usually require different apps, services, and programs and I’m able to streamline all of that with this app.
  • Creating and preprint workflows.
  • Executing workflows in a simple way.
  • Bring different applications and services together.
  • More training and help guides.
  • Simplifying the implementation process.
  • Multiple user integration.
Where this app would be best suited is for B2B businesses that are using multiple services, apps, and tools to create solutions for their clients. For a bigger company that is more disorganized due to all the moving pieces, this application will help streamline a lot of the different pieces a big organization is juggling to provide a solution to their clients.

The serverless computing feature provided by Microsoft Azure Logic Apps enabled us to develop cost-effective solutions for the users which are scalable and flexible. We were able to replace the existing monitoring and file transfer system that gets a daily feed wherein the resource utilization is almost one hour per day, and the server sits idle for the rest of the day, being a financial app and need to be compliant with sharing with other apps wasn't a solution.

Using Azure Logic Apps, we were able to achieve the required functionality without having any dedicated server, login accounts, etc.
  • Responding to Azure Events
  • Scalable and cost effective
  • Customized Scheduled Jobs/Tasks
  • Able to connect with most of the external products/interfaces
  • Automated Mail Response
  • Iteration/Looping along with depth in If Else can be improved
  • Becomes difficult to manage for large scale execution/branching as the project/requirements grow, which may not be related to data by kind of decision tree
  • More Precise and Clear documentation, along with examples, makes developer's job easy to consider Azure Logic Apps
In a scenario wherein the app needs to be turned on quickly without too much infrastructure, AD group creation, etc., Azure Logic Apps best suits and addresses the problem by giving an on-fly solution. It would be less appropriate to pick Azure Logic Apps wherein output data created as a computation from the logic app is more than 100+ MB.

The main USP of Azure Logic Apps is its connectors. MS has come a long way in providing various connectors to different services. The main implementation I have used is for services that provided Rest APIs to connect and also amongst Microsoft Saas and Paas offerings. Using MSI enables the management of authentication while using Paas/Saas offerings like Azure Functions, Log analytics, etc. The other scope where I have used it the most is for Playbooks (it's just a logic app with Sentinel Trigger) which offers huge relief for automation of SIEM (Sentinel.)
  • Connecting to different services using OOB connectors
  • Support for HTTP connectors which enables user to leverage RestAPIs
  • Readability, i.e., it looks just like a Visio diagram. Even managers or HRs can have a look and get to know what's happening
  • It's a Programmer's Lego. It's fun connecting them at the same time getting the work done
  • Limitations on a variable. For instance, an array can hold only 1500 as of now. There are several limitations like these. Increasing these numbers helps users a lot.
  • Nesting Depth: A single if-else statement itself takes two levels. If there are multiple levels, then there is no choice but to have another logic app.
  • Execution Time: This is a huge drawback as far as I am concerned. One can easily develop and deploy a logic app in 30 mins, which might take at least 3 hours if we have done it in any other way (like c# coding + functions). But the main pain point is the testing. If a loop has 5000 elements and is using the same variable, the runtime might take literally an hour to complete.
  • API connections: Let's say if an API has a limit of 1000 calls per 5 minutes, and my logic app needs to do 5000 calls. There is no way I can create 5 API connections and dynamically use them in Azure Logic Apps.
1. For simple tasks / moderately difficult tasks (where there are not too many condition checks)
2. We have less time for development, and the Agenda is simple.
3. Avoid Azure Logic Apps when you are unsure about hitting the limits (check latest limitations of Azure Logic Apps in MS docs)

We are currently testing Azure Logic Apps for use in a number of channels in our business. We are very excited to see what we can accomplish with this new platform. We currently use Azure Logic Apps to automate a number of manual tasks ( scrape emails, read PDFs and dump the data into a database for use by other applications).
  • Simple to use and start with
  • Very intuitive interface
  • Powerful connections out of the box
  • Better explanation of all the features that you have available
  • Better documentation as it is a new platform
  • More start up projects to give users an idea of the power of the logic app
Azure Logic Apps are a very powerful platform once you get your head wrapped around what they can really do. It is best not to go into them thinking of it as the total solution. Think of them as small tasks that can be chained together by other Azure Logic Apps or other custom applications to create the whole solution to the problem.
