They just added a new charge of $600/year to every client they claim to maintain the cost of keeping gifts in PCI compliance. … It is getting harder to see the ROI as [positive] with using Raiser's Edge as the price continues to increase with no additional benefit.

I would say that RE NXT is ideal for all fundraising organizations that raise at least $1MM annually; smaller organizations with low potential for major growth might still be best served by eTapestry...

The (small) price jump in upgrading to NXT vs. renewing what we have made the choice for us, as we had no room in our budget for the added cost. … Tying NXT package pricing to the number of records in our database.

RE NXT is an expensive module and considering I still use Raisers Edge Database view for 75-80% of my daily tasks, for us, it is not a great value for the money. … Cost saving on the processing fees now that we can pass those on to the donor through our online forms.
