Zoom Info Pros and Cons from 2 Year User.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In our organization, we have been using ZoomInfo to solve problems such as prospecting, enriching data, and enriching the phone numbers in our people's data sets. Apart from that, we also use ZoomInfo to dial our prospects for a call. And when I talk about the scope of our use case, the scope of my use case is basically from identifying the correct prospects to connecting with them via email, via call, or maybe building a list. It generally starts with building a list and ends with closing clients, and the entire process happens from beginning to end. It starts from ZoomInfo, where I prospect it, I farm for the details, whether it is the first name, last name, LinkedIn profile, company, mobile number, email, and then try to reach out on the relevant sites. I also use ZoomInfo to draft an email to reach out to prospects. Yes.

Pros

  • The very first example of what ZoomInfo sales does particularly well is providing the correct scope and intent for current initiatives in an organization.
  • Second is contact enrichment, wherein the emails and phone numbers of a specific person for the jobs they have changed are automatically updated.
  • And the third is to give us a very specific calling script the moment the call gets connected.

Cons

  • The areas for ZoomInfo that require improvement are, first, the Chrome extension. It lags a lot.
  • The second area for improvement is contact sync. So the moment we select a few contacts to sync to our CRM, they do not automatically sync with all features, updates, or information. So we have to wait for a while.
  • And the third, I would say, is that for every additional feature, you have to go up in the license ladder, which can be improved by a lot of margin and a lot of transparency. And also the onboarding part.

Return on Investment

  • Now, the positive impact that ZoomInfo has made on our sales pipeline. Basically, what I can say is that it has helped us gather the contact details of the relevant person.
  • I won't say it has helped us accelerate deals, improve win rates, or enhance seller productivity. These never came into the picture. The only thing that has benefited us positively is giving us the details. Rest assured, there is no positivity for ZoomInfo.

Great sales prospecting and marketing tool

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Identify target accounts, we find companies that fit our ideal customer profile. We research prospects — view company, contact, technology, and organizational information. Then we build our target lists for sales or marketing campaigns. Lastly we coordinate our sales & marketing teams— give teams a shared view of target accounts and opportunities.

Pros

  • Able to narrow down based on specific variables to target the right decision maker

ZoomInfo made our prospecting faster and more focused

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

we use ZoomInfo for prospecting, generating leads, extracting the data. We also do draft some emails using their AI feature. So it helps us to draft some personalized emails as it helps us to send 100 emails per day. Also they have calling features so if we have any contact immediately we can call that person. Apart from that the ZoomInfo extension is also very helpful as it extracts the contact details in a second so that we can directly call them or reach out to them via email. And after clicking on the ZoomInfo logo we can get all the information about the person, the company that he is associated with. Also when we search for a company it reflects all the information along with the tech stack, the revenue, employee size and location of the company. Also it helps us with the scoops which helps us to get some intentful data where we can write to the people where we know that they have some intent and they can buy our services. Apart from that, the ZoomInfo also helps us to export any contact which is not present in the CRM so it's get integrated with our Salesforce CRM very easily. So if you want to export any contact which is not in CRM we just have to click on export and it directly gets exported to the Salesforce and we can see their CRM record in the Salesforce. So yeah, so ZoomInfo helps us in these many things also. It helps us to upload our Excel list into over there in the ZoomInfo where we can start reaching out and calling to them, to our list, not just the list that we generate via ZoomInfo.

Pros

  • Gives updated contact details
  • Scoop feature gives good insights
  • Intent feature helps us to go after the prospects where we know what is the requirement
  • Integrates well with our CRM Salesforce
  • Helps us in knowing the tech stack of the company we are going after.

Cons

  • I think ZoomInfo should have a dialer feature that allows us to dial any number.
  • ZoomInfo should increase the number of emails that we send per day
  • ZoomInfo should help us add multiple email domains so we can send emails via different domains, so it protects any particular email ID from getting spammed

Return on Investment

  • We’ve seen a clear lift in our pipeline quality. Instead of chasing random leads, we are reaching out to the right people, which leads to more meaningful conversations.
  • Our outreach speed has improved a lot. With quick access to data and AI-assisted emails, we can connect with more prospects in less time without it feeling like spam.
