Great tool to track platform usage.
Use Cases and Deployment Scope
We used Hotjar to track the number of users logging into our platform and how they used it. It was beneficial to see how they were using the platform so that we could make changes to it, clarify things where needed, and improve the user experience.
Pros
- Provides insights on platform usage.
- Provides recordings of user sessions.
Cons
- I felt like the features in the highest-paid tier were not super useful (It might've just been our use case, though).
Return on Investment
- We helped show users how to use our tool so that we could find strategies to increase usage as needed.
- Helped improve our platform by finding bugs/other changes needed.
