This is a four part tutorial on my unified framework for sequential decisions.  I will describe a variety of applications (pretty much any process that involves people).  I introduce the "jungle of stochastic optimization" which consists of over 15 distinct fields for solving decision problems under uncertainty.  

I introduce a universal framework, and four classes of policies which cover any method described in the research literature, or used in practice.  These are then described using different applications.

I use a simple energy storage example to show that any of the four classes, and possibly a hybrid, may work best depending on the specific characteristics of the data.
