Best Way for New Podcasters to Get Started.
We used Anchor to produce a podcast that is in addition to the other sermon podcast hosted by our website provider. Anchor gave us options for publishing and content management that were way more robust and user-friendly than what our website does, pushing things to Apple Podcasts alone. Anchor made it easier to connect with multiple podcast outlets from one source.

Great way to get started podcasting!
Anchor has allowed us to get started in the podcasting space easily and quickly. They've enabled us to get set up without having to become experts in all the different facets of running a podcast, like recording and editing software, syndication, hosting, etc. It's really been a great way to get started quickly.
- Syndication is very easy with Anchor.
- Recording is simple and intuitive.
- Editing is robust enough to get the job done without being overly complicated.
- Documentation could be improved.
- Better tutorials/onboarding.
- Using Anchor to listen to podcasts is a bit cumbersome. The consumer side of the UX could be improved.

A Solid Launchpad For Your Next Niche Podcast Series
We primarily use Anchor by Spotify as the main distributor for our initial podcast series, "You Know The Drill". Using Anchor allows us to easily distribute to Spotify, Apple Podcasts, as well as other podcast platforms.

As a podcast platform Anchor serves its purpose of aggregating content to various platforms. The functionality and UI are very simple (which is a PRO and CON), but overall Anchor allows content creators the ability to share their audio (and video) content to the most popular podcast platforms with ease.

As a novice podcaster, I was looking for a podcast editing tool that allowed for a process to easily edit in a timely, cost efficient, and convenient manner. The business problem was to address a need for a small business and identify a tool that easily integrated with other operating platforms. The primary goal was to produce new podcast output material more frequently. This tool is a powerhouse for independent consultants searching for a reliant software.

Anchor, by Spotify, also offers some exclusive features that can be useful for some businesses such as the Music+Talk features where you could use snippets of songs available on Spotify in your podcasts and talk about them.

A super easy tool to record, edit and publish a podcast, used for my personal and work. It's a freemium tool with a very professional output.

Since we started doing more web-based support in our company, instead of having clients just create support tickets if they needed help, we wanted a solution to host voice-based support files. One of our engineers had heard about Anchor and had dabbled, but once it became obvious that we might need something like it for our next phases I started looking into it to see if it would cover our very basic needs. We started uploading some files to it, easy enough and then sending those to our clients. Since there are no costs to host or distribute the files, we didn´t have to go to accounting to get funds for it. We are in the process of adding new audios every week and seeing if it makes sense for us to have them there. Since most of our support is based on how-to videos, we are under review to see if our clients get the same level of support from audio as from videos, and we are sending out queries to all clients to see what they thought about it. If we get enough good responses then we might start moving more and more of our support to audio files.

Want to Podcast? This is your best first step
In my second career as a writer/novelist, I use WordPress as my CMS. Anchor makes it so easy to turn my blog posts into a podcast episode. It is easy to use, has an approachable, intuitive interface for those of us who are not audio engineers, allows for easy editing of the sound file, and has a wealth of stock sounds and music to make the final product sound polished and professional.

- As with many help systems, the search results can always be more precise to the query. Not a deal-breaker by any means.
- More guided tutorials to help the new podcaster get going with a little less trial and error.

Converting written text into verbal with the least amount of effort. Anchor, by Spotify allows you to download your WordPress text and change it into a sound podcast through a dashboard. It also allows you to include sound/melody before and after the text. And if you have sponsors, it allows you add them as well.

The direct integration with Spotify was a plus and unlocked a lot of features, such as polls & Q&As. Our podcast is still fairly small so Anchor, by Spotify was a perfect choice for us!
