VMware Workstation Pro helps with management of VM's
- When updating multiple VM's, this is a much quicker option vs trying to either RDP to them or console using Vcenter
- We are required to run a VM locally for certain tasks, and this has been the most effective way to use it
- The ability to manage a VM without having to worry about the console freezing up helps with management
- It has helped a great deal keeping duties separated among different roles.
- The ability to share a single OS build helps cut down on setup for new employees.

- It saved a lot of development time.

- It helped us also with archiving older build machines that would only occasionally be needed so it would be a waste to keep physical machines for them.

Virtually head and shoulders above the rest
- Save countless dollars because you are saving time during Windows upgrades
- Allows testing outside the managed system for bandwidth testing, etc.
- Costly compared to some other options
- The ROI on Workstation would be hard for us to compute. It makes things easier to do and to get access to, but there are other applications and methods to do much the same thing.
- Where there has to be a some form of ROI is in the fact that you will actually do things that you might not otherwise do simply because Workstation makes them easier. Sandbox testing is a good example of this idea.

There is no Image that VMware Workstation cannot handle.
- Positive impact would be that VMware is a simple, inexpensive solution. To be able to run such other software you would need completely new hardware, but VMware can run it for you virtually, thus, the savings are incredible.
- One VMware instance can run multiple instances of images simultaneously, therefore, it is very time-saving.
