Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We utilized ZipRecruiter as a job posting and recruiting tool. It was a great way to get fast response to your job posting of active candidates. I am a Recruiter/ Human Resources Consultant. The tool helps filter and track candidate status, so you can do that all in one system.

Pros

  • Exposure & reach to certain labor categories.
  • Response to job posting.
  • Ease of use.

Cons

  • Drilling down to relevant candidates.
  • Smarter match between candidates and job posting.
  • Identifying potential candidates.

Likelihood to Recommend

ZipRecruiter is useful for skilled labor for more blue-collar industries. The type of candidates in the system tends to fall in this category. Sometimes, the candidates are not as responsive since they tend to spam all postings. For highly skilled or senior management positions, it is better to post on other job boards and use other recruiting resources.

I don't use it in my organization I have used it personally prior to joining my organization. I was enrolled in Merit American for the google data analytics certificate program, and one of the final requirements was to create a profile with ZipRecruiter. While searching for a position in data analytics I found my current position in the medical field. So as for my organization using ZipRecruiter, it is used as another form of advertising for open positions to seek qualified and responsible quality future employees. Being able to see a potential employee's profile along with a resume, all their credentials and education experience in one area makes it easier and timesaving when in need for employees. As for a possible business problem I would say it is pretty standard of the unknown. You cannot see the person just a web page about them, and the unknown of is everything that is on the profile correct or is it just information that the user put in to make themselves look suitable, but really probably is not.

Pros

  • Lots of information on education and employment eperience
  • Shows the best candidate on down to someone who is suitable but not the top
  • Does somewhat verify candidate information

Cons

  • Process of confirming identity could be more reliable more in depth
  • More exact match filtering
  • Choice to have a specific location or have it posted nation wide

Likelihood to Recommend

ZipRecruiter helped build the profile from start to finish step by step. Making it easy for anyone whether they are fresh out of school or 25 years into a position looking for a career change. Uploading a resume and having the option of getting help or support on making it match the position you are searching.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

ZipRecruiter is used as one of our recruiting platforms. When you need to hire higher volume jobs or generate a lor of resumes ZipRecruiter helps meet that need. ZipRecruiter's easy to use functionality allows multiple users to access its platform. Additionally there are some basic work flows in ZipRecruiter that help you track your applicants as they move through your hiring process.

Pros

  • Generate high volume of resumes
  • Casts your job on a large variety of job boards

Cons

  • Allow similar postings in one area
  • Better tracking of applicants

Likelihood to Recommend

ZipRecruiter is well situated to cast your job over a wide variety of platforms. You will initially get a large group of applicants. If you are hiring for entry level or easy to fill jobs this is a great platform to use.

However, in my opinion, if you are looking for more technical or nuanced jobs ZipRecruiter is probably not the best place to use.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use ZipRecruiter for sourcing candidates for various locations and states sometimes, We use a hashtag #ZR on Jobdiva below the job description which allows the job to directly get posted which allow the job to be reached to a large number of candidates, but there are issues in which we get multiple resume for a single candidate and sometimes even though there are number of candidates for the same location but it do not get reached to that number of people.

Pros

  • It pushes the job post to all the platforms, which makes in receiving a number of applicants in few hours only.
  • It helps to pick strong candidates and we can invite them personally to apply for that specific role.
  • We can add a number of screening questions which helps in finding the perfect candidate for that specific role

Cons

  • AI should be a little more advanced so that we don't get a candidate who misses skills and experience required.
  • It should validate the resume with the candidate because we get a number of fake and incomplete profiles.
  • They should highlight the verified recruiters or those who source through their platform.

Likelihood to Recommend

Its geo targeting and search features made it easy to source people from specific sites and places, also it post the jobs to various platforms at the same time. AI should be more advanced so that we can get some high position profiles because it does not work as good on the high end roles as compared to the low end roles.

  • the dashboard

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ZipRecruiter for its recruiting platform. We did not use it for long because of the cost to post a simple job. The tools are useful and I would recommend it to any business that does not mind paying for the services offered. If you are wanting just to post a job and let happen what will happen this is not the platform for you. ZipRecruiter will find applicants for you based on your job description.

Pros

  • Applicant matching is well done.
  • Recruiting based off of qualification is well done.
  • Posting a job is simple.

Cons

  • Trial period could be longer to allow more time for applicants to respond.
  • Free options could be added.

Likelihood to Recommend

ZipRecruiter is good for reaching out to potential applicants instead of waiting and hoping they see your job posting. I think they could get more traffic however by offering free options such as posting a job without seeking out applicants that are preferred. Overall it is a well done platform.

ZipRecruiter Review

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a senior recruiter for my organization and I use ZipRecruiter (and ZipIntro) for most of my Industrial related positions. We pay a premium to advertise our jobs on the platform. We also use it to search for resumes and host virtual interviews. This biggest issues we face are searches not working property and candidates who are not qualified for the job coming up in searches. We also see a lot of un completed resumes and duplicate resumes for the same jobs. Our main business problem is the lack of skilled candidates.

Pros

  • Posting job slots
  • Providing resumes for certain states
  • Connecting people for ZipIntro sessions

Cons

  • Actually connecting jobs with qualified candidates
  • Sending completed resumes
  • Having a better candidate pool

Likelihood to Recommend

I had a warehouse opening and needed candidates asap. I was able to create a ZipIntro Session and found some candidates within 24 hours.

I tried to post a maintenance opening in Omaha NE and ZipRecruiter noted they did not have a good candidate pool for that area in that field and would not post the opening.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm a freelance startup recruiter. I use ZipRecruiter and linkedin as part of my recruiting process. A lot of founders struggle with hiring because they can't find the right personality or the person with the right fit. ZipRecruiter helps me find a bulk of potential clients that we normally go through together until they find the right fit. Then of course we interview.

Pros

  • Strong visibility
  • Bulk applications
  • Smooth applicant to interview process

Cons

  • Free job listings. - allow smaller companies cheaper or free options for job postings
  • Automatic resume filter- automatically reject applicants that are clearly not suited for the role/ stop random applicants from applying

Likelihood to Recommend

1. A startup founder or business owner has tried to use LinkedIn to collect resumes but they aren't having any luck and are looking for other ways to find candidates.

2. A new recruiter is looking for different ways to find new candidates and they have a healthy budget to accomplish this goal.

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I have only used ZipRecruiter for searching jobs around the area I reside. It offers you good insights on the Job market and helps you obtain information for the organization you’re interested in. Moreover, its easy user interface makes it easy to navigate through the platform. I like how ZipRecruiter helps me keep updated with the jobs that are even slightly my match, makes it much easier to click and apply. On the other hand, it’s good for recruiters to find a suitable candidate for position they wanna fill. Being a new business owner, i find ZipRecruiter a good platform to start with when I want to expand and hire more people.

Pros

  • It helps you navigate the jobs in your city.
  • It keeps its users updated on the new jobs.
  • It recommends you good matches.

Cons

  • It can improve the design of the website and app. It looks very white and less entertaining. But it’s just my opinion
  • It can improve its search visibility for jobs that are hard to find but open.
  • It can improve it’s user functionality by adopting new up to date features like AI tools

Likelihood to Recommend

It’s always a good choice to have an account on ZipRecruiter for job search. It’s organized user interface makes it easy for people to click and apply to jobs they find of their match. It’s well suited for people that are looking for opportunities and as well as side hustles.
