Overall Satisfaction with ZipRecruiter
We utilized ZipRecruiter as a job posting and recruiting tool. It was a great way to get fast response to your job posting of active candidates. I am a Recruiter/ Human Resources Consultant. The tool helps filter and track candidate status, so you can do that all in one system.
Pros
- Exposure & reach to certain labor categories.
- Response to job posting.
- Ease of use.
Cons
- Drilling down to relevant candidates.
- Smarter match between candidates and job posting.
- Identifying potential candidates.
- Reduced time to hire for certain job categories.
- Increase in application rates.
- Return on investment was poor (considering how much we spent on advertising).
There tends to be an inundation of resumes that are not entirely relevant to the job posting. It requires extra time for the recruiter to filter through those resumes. However, with the increased application rate, there are more potential candidates we can find, but it's a needle-in-a-haystack situation.
I have not seen a positive impact on the AI matching technology or proactive outreach features of this tool. This has not affected my experience with ZipRecruiter.
- Indeed ADS (Sponsored Jobs) and LinkedIn Jobs
ZipRecruiter is the poorest of these other tools in my experience. I chose ZipRecruiter to add more recruiting sources because there tend to be a lot of candidates that come through. However, the product is less effective and efficient to use than other products from an employer's perspective. From a return on investment perspective, I have hired fewer candidates via this tool.
