Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Virtual Office
We are a small business with employees that now work from home. 8x8 Virtual Office VoIP is an ideal solution for our business structure as it allows us to continue using the number from our old landline across multiple locations.
- 8x8 Virtual Office solutions allow our customers to reach us across mobile devices (via the app) and to fixed handsets when we are in the office.
- I was a complete VoIP novice at the point of purchase. The telephone support from 8x8 was second to none in the setup phase.
- I think the amount and variety of functionality (for the price) is amazing.
- Really useful email alerts to let you know if there are any service dropouts.
- Retrieving voicemails from our handset can be a tedious process.
- Value for money may start to tail off as you add more users at a fixed price, but this may be an inaccurate view of their pricing structure that you should check.
- Make sure you take advantage of the step by step phone setup when you first want to use the service, it definitely isn't 'plug and play' level easy to get started.
- There almost too much customization for a small business. This could be slimmed down for a basic user.
- We had to make savings in our business structure. Simply put, this wouldn't have been possible without the 8x8 Virtual Office, simple as that.
I can't remember all the alternatives I looked at, unfortunately, but I do remember that 8x8 Virtual Office seemed like a really good value for the price with some decent reviews online. I figured at the time for the number of users we had that it was worth the punt to see what happened. Nothing has happened to make me regret that decision.
