Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

We use 8X8 Work to communicate within our organization and also for business communication with our customers for our daily business conduction. I am a system admin.

Pros

  • Ring Groups
  • Auto Attendants
  • Call queues

Cons

  • Ability to forward calls directly to someone's voicemail
  • Ability to see if someone is on the phone without having to assign them as a Busy Lamp Field. If an extension is assigned to a button on a Poly device we would be able to see if they are currently on a call or not.
  • Helps us stay in communication with our customers daily.
I give 8x8 Work a rating of 9 because it is easy to use but still room for a few improvements.

8x8 Work has been great to work with, the only issues we have faced are when our Poly devices go down due to updates. The couple of items that prevents me from giving a rating of 10 is that it would be nice to be able to see if someone is on the phone on the Poly device without having to assign them a Busy Lamp Field. The ability to then transfer a call directly to someone's voicemail would also be great and also. Because of this I rate at a 9.
