Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

Our company uses 8x8 for most communication both internally and with our patients. 8x8 allows us to call from caller IDs that correlate with the providers we service which builds trust with both our clients and patients. Internally, we are able to communicate with our team members both one on one and in group settings. 8x8 analytics allow us to monitor our team members productivity and call effectiveness.

Cons

  • On analytics, the double counting due to different legs can be confusing. More clarity in that area would be helpful
  • I also wish we had the ability to delete unneeded rooms in 8x8 group chats
  • At times there is a delay in recordings being available for review. I wish that was available sooner more consistently.
  • I do not have visibility into the numbers but I do know that we rely heavily on 8x8 to complete our day to day business.
It is very user friendly. The only area that may be less user friendly is the analytics screen. The 8x8 work app is very simple to use as well as the admin console page. I have no issues with usability and am overall very pleased with the product. 8x8 support has also been improving which has been helpful for any issues that do arise with usability.
I am not aware of any other phone system we have used. We do use teams for administrative meetings and communication. While the meeting quality in teams is better than the meeting quality in 8x8, I still prefer 8x8 overall for day to day communications and use. I prefer 8x8 chat over teams. There is less fluff and more simple usability.

Overall, the program is very suitable for our company's needs. We are able to carry out our day to day duties in which we heavily rely on functionality from 8x8's services. They are always very helpful when an issue occurs and want to get us back online as soon as possible.
