Overall Satisfaction with Acquia Digital Experience Platform

Acquia enhances Drupal to give clients a true Enterprise DXP centered around content management. This enables business units to drive their digital experiences with little IT involvement. I've seen Acquia successfully used in a number of use cases including, but not limited to, B2C entertainment business and a consumer retail good company. We've also implemented Acquia for our own website.
  • Ample and intuitive content editing capabilities
  • Flexibility to change content schema on the fly
  • Robust cloud platform minimizing management overhead
  • The add on products still have some growing to be truly cohesive
  • SiteFactory and ContentHub work well for certain use cases but flexibility outside of that is limited
  • I have seen direct revenue increases in the double digit %'s with clients
  • 70+% increase in conversion rate through a better user experience
It took about 9 months, but the project was a complete redesign and rebuild of a web experience. But once it was launched the impacts were very large from substantially decreasing effort from marketing to publishing new content and the improved experience leading to double-digit gains in revenue and massive gains in customer conversion on the site.
As stated in a previous answer, Acquia can truly scale from near the smallest use cases to the largest enterprise use cases. There may be simpler solutions on the small side, but I guarantee Acquia will still provide value for even the smallest sites through its platform and associated tools. And it has the robustness to handle large-scale implementations as well.
In my opinion, Acquia compares favorably to any similar product I have seen. It is a cut above Sitecore in usability, ability to build quickly, and general content management capabilities. It is not nearly as complex as AEM which leads it to be much easier to implement. Jahia is close to Acquia, but the market size of Drupal/Acquia allows it to separate itself.

Acquia can be successful in just about any scenario, it is that robust of a product. On the very low end of content management experiences, and at the very high end, benefits may be a bit more limited, but it can truly scale to handle any use case from standard content management to complex enterprise DXP solutions, as well as headless CMS use cases.
