Overall Satisfaction with Act-On

Act-On is being used to send out emails to help engage our user base.
  • Very easy to manage emails and keep control of what is being sent our to my users
  • Even though I am not an expert with HTML I still found it easy to customise my emails
  • The email scheduling facility I found to be very powerful and you can really get to work on setting up quite complex structures to send emails out to your users
  • The only problem I found with Act-On is the sync facility between Act-On and my own file transfer protocol (FTP). It always came up with errors and it took a long time to resolve with the support team. Recently the problem has come back so none of my lists are being synced correctly which means my automatic programs do not have the correct users
  • We are quite a small business and I feel their pricing structure is not really suited for small businesses, however we had great support from our sales rep who managed to get us some good deals in terms of active users
  • ROI is difficult to calculate, however we do feel Act-On has played a great part in our company reaching our user base and keeping them interacting with our website
We were considering using Infusionsoft purely because they are a much cheaper option but they failed to follow up on their sales lead and never got back to us.
Act-On makes my life easy and once everything is setup the software just runs itself without very little hands-on management. This gives you much more time to concentrate on other matters concerning your business.
Act-On has really made a difference to our business. Their advice and implementation of automated email responses made a change in converting non paying members into premium customers at a low cost to the company. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
