Overall Satisfaction with Act-On Software

Our company uses the Act-On email marketing platform for all lead and customer email communications. We chose Act-On because of its seamless integration with Salesforce and the ability to finely tune audience segments.

Pros

Cons

  • The new generation wyzywyg editor needs to have the ability to edit the HTML source code
  • More flexibility for importing custom reports from Salesforce to ensure no information is inadvertently lost in the de-duplication process
  • Ease of Use
  • Time Savings - specifically the ability to clone emails and whole automated journeys. As a department of one, this is crucial for getting marketing campaigns up and running quickly.
I've worked in many email platforms over the course of my 20-year career. I can say for my specific needs, Act-On does everything I need it to do without the additional fluff or confusing interface of others.
Act-On has gone above and beyond to integrate seamlessly with my company's Salesforce platform. We have a custom-built process with many custom objects. Whenever I have needed something out of the normal setup, the Act-On tech team has accommodated my needs to ensure information passes back and forth between the two platforms correctly and quickly.
It's extremely user friendly.

Act-On is ideal for this department of one. The user interface is simple and intuitive. I know there are a lot of features of the platform that I don't personally use, like contact scoring, webinar, form or landing page build outs, so I can't speak to those. But for the purposes of audience segmentation and emails, it does exactly what I need it to do. I love how seamlessly it integrates with Salesforce.
