Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use ActiveCampaign to store my email list and communicate with subscribers. I use it to deliver emails on a regular basis, and I've created different automations for different segments of users in my list. I have tried different types of email software, but ActiveCampaign is so far the best and the most flexible one.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Send broadcast emails to targeted users.
Preview and testing before sending.
Automations.

Cons

Reporting.
Email editor - Can't insert images in-line in a text block, which is absolutely maddening.
Email editor's image tool itself is limited, and navigation is not intuitive (mostly hovering over graphic buttons and guessing what they might do).

Return on Investment

Great for sending out emails.
Able to follow up and see who is viewing what.

Likelihood to Recommend

ActiveCampaign is well suited for small businesses just getting started in the email automation space and they’ll grow with you as you expand your customer list. If you have a large customer database and want to send automated emails, then Active Campaign is great.
