Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
We use ActiveCampaign to send biweekly newsletters and to set up autoresponder campaigns for lead generation. We send newsletters to both our B2B and B2C audiences and make use of the segmentation options when sending. Segmenting audiences is especially useful for B2C when we are trying to sell specifically to leads or upsell current customers.
- Segmentation. This is useful when needing to send campaigns to different parts of the sales funnel.
- Automation. I am able to set up successful drip campaigns through automation options.
- General design. While there is always room for improvement, there is a lot of design ability.
- Glitchy sometimes. Sometimes a font size will change or something will be underlined randomly and can't be switched back without closing the newsletter and coming back.
- Communication. Sometimes I don't get a response when I have issues.
- Amount of fonts. I would like more fonts available if possible.
- We make money through our drip campaigns. When someone enters lead gen for a trial, I will send them a coupon code through ActiveCampaign. I am then able to resend the code if they haven't opened that email in a certain amount of time.
ActiveCampaign is cheaper with just as much (if not more) capability. Mailchimp is very easy to use, but so is ActiveCampaign. They have very similar uses, so it's all preference. Mailchimp seems to continuously raise their prices, but I am happy with the cost of ActiveCampaign. I also like how you have a personal representative.
