Mailchimp has always “felt” more clunky to me than other platforms in general. Active Campaign simply has better features for building lists

ActiveCampaign was the only
autoresponder I found that had such a robust sequencing system. Also one of the only that had a graphic map for automations. But it goes much further than that with managing large customer lists
