Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ActivTrak to observe how our teens are using our devices. It is used by every computer in our department to ensure appropriate usage.

Pros and Cons

Screenshot alarms that give you an idea of how the device is being used.
Categorizes how each user is dividing their time.

An option for continuous screenshots.
Setting up screenshot alarms could be easier.

Return on Investment

We are able to ensure appropriate device usage.

This doesn't really apply to our situation because we are observing teenage device usage, but the chart that divides the time spent on each application is really helpful to know how the teens are using their time on the device.

We have teenagers that use our computers and ActivTrak allows us to observe how they are using the devices and spending their time. It is very helpful with this, and we are able to set alarms to take screenshots to ensure that usage is appropriate. I also like that I can see the categories and the amount of time spent in each category to get an idea of how the teens are spending their time.
