Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
Acumatica is our ERP system, we use the distribution module and some of the manfacturing. Our biggest problem is way too many customizations that were put in 7 years ago to get around things not yet ready. This has slowed our use of Acumatica to the point of frustration levels with our users. I'm the ERP Admin, so the bridge between the users and the in-house dev team.
- Covers more areas including integrating accounting natively
- GI's and dashboards
- Slow spinning blue wheel; very frustrating but that could be because of our customizations
- Slow response time on processing times
- Much better than any previous ERP we've had but the investment portion was a lot for configuration because of our initial choice of consultants
7-12 months
Being cloud based has made working from home or office much better.
Acumatica is our ERP system for all sales and warehouse. An ERP is essential in our area of business.
Personally I prefer Salesforce and it ease and simple configuration, there are some areas of Acumatica that could do with being improved on a huge scale --> I think once the modern UI comes out next year we will see some of this because customization right now is so clunky. Our company selected Acumatica before I joined them.

Evaluating Acumatica and Competitors
Yes - Everest. So outdated.
- Cloud Solutions
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
Allow more systems in play for a well rounded experience in decision making. Monopoly and connections made this decision for us.
Acumatica Implementation
- Implemented in-house
- Third-party professional services
Our original VAR really did us a disservice, so we had to go direct with Acumatica who then passed us off to Crestwood after implementation.
- N/A I was not present for this part

Yes, on many occasions I've needed to rely solely on Acumatica support rather than my developer. Missy Main has been the biggest and most approachable person of help.

- Customer management as long as you DO NOT have duplicates.
- Duplicate merging of customers is still not an option even after 7 years of being requested
- Relinking of items (CR Opportunities and CR Quotes) are impossible because of key fields. Very frustrating.
Yes, but I don't use it
