Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
I use the Creative Cloud version of Acrobat to read PDFs. One thing I really like to use Acrobat for is combining PDF documents or editing them and removing pages from the PDFs. It's very useful when you're using it for the right reasons. Another thing I like is converting the PDF to a Word document so others can fill in their own writing.
- Access / read PDFs
- Edit PDFs
- Convert PDFs
- Maintain the layout when converting; sometimes, it loses the layout, and things are misaligned.
- This makes it easier to write in custom text on a PDF, but sometimes I have to convert it from a PDF to a doc to achieve.
- Menu could be easier to find things.
- Editing PDFs
- Redacting
- Combining PDFs
- Extracting pages
- Ease of Use
Overall, Acrobat is very easy to use. Nobody wants to use a program that is difficult.
- Being able to edit PDFs is a major time saver.
- Combining PDFs is great way for organizing.
The one thing that comes to mind when it comes to security is the redacting portion. I do not rely on redacting every PDF or being involved in highly sensitive data on PDFs, but if I were, I would be cautious if a vulnerability was out there that could reveal the redaction. Other than that when it comes to security, I don't feel like that's much of a threat with Acrobat.
Well, each app from Adobe on Creative Cloud does other things. Acrobat is an overall go-to for PDFs; no other app from Adobe does that. It's included in the Creative Cloud subscription.
