Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

I use Adobe Acrobat to access PDF documents, create them, compress them, and adapt them. Acrobat has been an essential part of my business operations in day-to-day work and for the delivery of finished products for clients. The ability to subtly edit documents and combine multiple documents into a single PDF has made my work much easier over the years.
  • Open and Edit PDF Files.
  • Create New PDF Files From Other File Types.
  • Combine Existing PDF Files Into a New Document.
  • Edit Page Order Within PDF Files.
  • Compress PDF Files.
  • PDF Content Editing Can Still Be Somewhat Clunky.
  • Compression Tools While Functional Could Be Much More Robust.
  • In My Opinion, Acrobat Should Be a Free App Within the Adobe Suite.
  • Opening PDF Files.
  • Creating New PDF Files.
  • Compressing PDF Files.
  • Combining PDF Files.
  • Mixing Pages Within PDF Files.
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
Initially, the cost to obtain Acrobat was prohibitive as it's available through a monthly subscription bundle. But as I've needed all the other bundled software, the combined cost for the entire Creative Suite is a great deal. If Acrobat is the only program you need, you might consider purchasing it stand-alone or as a single version copy.
  • Helps professionalism of delivery of finalized digital content to clients.
  • Creates a simple workflow for accessing and creating read-only content on PDF files.
This question requires a passive answer because the best-case scenario is that I haven't been impacted at all. By having high security, I'm protected from impact and can continue my business without concern or thought about my online safety. I've had an Acrobat subscription through Adobe Cloud for many years, and I have never been concerned about my data or work being compromised or at risk.
PDF readers allow you to access PDF files, but that is a bare minimum in my work and not sufficient for my needs when preparing content, adapting it, or even combining content into new PDF files. I've not encountered any application that works as well or intuitively as Adobe Acrobat.

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Acrobat is amazing at creating and handling PDF files, which are primarily used to package completed content for distribution and/or printing. Acrobat lacks a more robust ability to adapt content or create new content within existing documents. Acrobat is best utilized for finalized content that you intend to package for distribution.
