Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat
Adobe Acrobat integrates with our case management software to create templates and edit text. We have the ability to enter bookmarks that will automatically populate when generating the template. We are able to send documents via PDF, or convert Word documents to PDF in a second. We also use Adobe Acrobat to save invoices to send to customers for payment and review.
Pros
- Allowing bookmarks / text to populate in templates
- Saving invoices and marketing materials to send to customers
- Converting Word documents to PDF
- Saving photos and pictures to PDF
Cons
- Turning documents into Templates, sometimes fields are missing and have to be created manually.
- You can send sales contracts to customers and lock the ability to edit text.
- If text is on a document that needs to be hidden, you can redact the text and send it to a customer.
- You can add signature marks for the customer to sign and return promptly.
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
This program can do so many things. It is the software that works in all situations and businesses to truly add functionality and productivity to your business. It can help with the finance department, word processing department, and marketing department, by providing reports converted into PDFs for easy distribution and turn around.
It's very helpful to have the ability to lock documents with a password. Having a password protected document assures the user that no edits have been made. Using this feature for court related documents or sending multiple contracts is an essential part of our business. Knowing our documents cannot be edited or altered is very important.
Adobe was far superior to Foxit and was the only software that integrated with our software at the time.
