Adobe Connect - Training NOT just meeting
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Connect
Adobe Connect is being used by the companies that I consult with to deliver virtual training programs. It is replacing other options to provide more interaction and engagement.
Pros
- Provides several options for participant interaction
- Manages and maintains content and room layouts
- Customizable and flexible set up and delivery
- Multiple Hosts
- True Breakout room capabilities
Cons
- Still too difficult to get participants up and running on connection to a meeting
- Still uses flash which blocks access to content or to access to a meeting
- Steep learning curve
- A few glitches and idiosyncrasies that need experience to address
- Clients have seen a substantial cost reduction in training
- Clients have reduced participant travel costs using adobe connect to deliver training - especially to remote locations and widespread filed based participants
Adobe Connect provides a higher level of participant interaction and flexibility in creating small groups and discussions. It also provides a consistent and persistent virtual meeting room where all content and engagement tools can be saved and reused. The ability to export and save chat, notes, whiteboard, and recordings is much more robust in Adobe Connect.
