Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Experience Manager

As a technical user, I use Adobe Experience Manager as a platform that I can customize to provide solutions that our business users require. We can integrate not only with other Adobe products like Analytics and Target, but also with our own on-prem services, which is key. So our business users can manage content in AEM and seamlessly capture purchases through our service layer.

Pros

  • Provides a variety of ways to build and work with content.
  • Provides easy-to-use UI for business users.
  • Provides a platform for integrating with other applications and services.

Cons

  • UI for dispatcher administration and configuration.
  • Clearer guidance on how and why to use the different ways of working with content.
  • Adobe Experience Manager has made it much easier for our marketing team to quickly create and test different content for optimization.
  • Having more optimized web experiences has allowed us to greatly increase our number of customers.
From the perspective of the business users Adobe Experience Manager is very easy to use, but it is a large, complex solution that could be overwhelming. For technical users it is massively flexible but again, it is also very complex.
